I am so grateful to you for uploading this video! When I was a kid I watched the video every day with my grandmother and dreamed of going to Disney. It moved me to my childhood. Really beautiful!❤️
I still have this set on VHS but I obviously don't always access to a VHS player so thank you for uploading this so I can enjoy any time! Interestingly, I found out there's actually two versions of this video. This one, which is the one I grew up on, and another one that edits out the Mickey's House part of Toon Town and the train engineer of the Railway and replaces it later on with a Splash Mountain feature. There's also various other minuscule cuts here and there that I only noticed because I watched my copy of the video enough times to recite it by heart
I would watch this video at least once a day when I was a kid until my mom made me give it to another little girl who would never get to go to Disney World because her parents couldn't afford it. Now that I'm older, I feel like she just got sick of hearing this music all the time XD Thank you for posting this video, though, it's so nostalgic!
interesting fact: the footage of the Main Street Electrical Parade was borrowed from the 1988 4th Of July Spectacular special, the same exact footage would be recycled for the '89 special as well
I had the version with the MSEP. I think the original run of VHS copies from spring '91 all had it. The later copies that were produced in late '91 and into early '92 for WDW's 20th had Spectro-Magic edited in.
Silly question, but was there another version of this that featured SpectroMagic as the nighttime parade? I swear the version I had as a kid had that, especially since we bought it in 1997. However, I haven't been able to find anything of that nature online and my VHS broke years ago (ya know, cuz I watched it everyday)
Ahh thanks hanniebug16 ! I thought I was imagining it, but it makes me happy to know others have seen it to. I'm right there with you, Spectro was my favorite and I still get upset about it sometimes
+burtonsdisneyprincess I have the spectromagic one also, it was my favorite, I think it is from 1992, when I went for the first time at 6years old, I will try to convert it from VHS and post for everyone
Maybe this is an impossible question to answer but I'd love to know the name of the song that the Country Bear Jamboree played at @15:05. My grandparents had this VHS and I love the melody but cannot find it anywhere. Would love to hear the complete song^^

burtonsdisneyprincess Honestly have no idea... This one I found on eBay - maybe a different version existed.
I had the version with SpectroMagic. That was my favorite parade, and I was so sad to see it go! :(
