Why is the letter NUN absent in this alphabetical Psalm? Rabbi Yohanan said that this is because it is the first letter of the word NOFEL ( to fall ). Thus , there was a desire to avoid even a hint that Israel would fall ( Berakhot 4b ) ... Hope this helped .. Shalom !
