Media shoved her down people's throats without good reason. remember how the media fawned over how beautiful her children with Ryan would be, before they were even born? Uggh that was nauseating
Wow, the two actresses actually turned their bodies away from the reporter, towards each other, and had a whole long discussion, completely shutting the reporter out. Ive only ever seen that kind of behaviour from mean girls/bullies whey they want to purposefully ignore someone or shut them out. That interviewer really kept her composure though. So professional on her part.
The reporter just congratulated her on her pregnancy. She didn’t ask her a question about it. There is a difference. People say Blake was irritated being asked about her pregnancy. But she wasn’t asked about it. Who gets offended by someone saying congratulations?
thats right, blake was in her karen mood !!! Reporter congratulated blake on a "bump", but she got offended that the reporter called her fat... fat-shaming accusation against baldini
Although I don’t think Blake knew she was struggling with infertility at the time but it still how how your words can really affect people! It was just AWFUL TO WATCH!
But that's the thing you don't have to know anything about a person to be kind. The interviewer congratulated her in the pregnancy all she had to do was say thank you but what I want to really congratulate is the great actors on this film @@lee-13

Ryan's ex is Scarlett, right? And she had that famous moment answering a male repoter asking about her underwear. I think she wanted to replicate that..but failed
But Scarlett's reaction made complete and total sense. That question was gross and wildly sexist. Blake Lively has made herself a fashion girly, so to be offended by a fashion question is truly insane. Especially when all she's done this press tour is rave about the fashion!
The way they both ignored her and carried on a conversation without the reporter was so f-ing high school, mean girl, bully ish ive ever seen. Shame on blake and parker!
her and Ryan always seemed like pick me, shallow people and she in particular seemed to have a mask on where behind the scenes she talked trash about people that weren't actually bad, its great when a mask slips in public like this, she needed to get off her high horse anyway
And also, the irony of two women (Blake and the author) writing about and starring in a movie about a societal issue they don’t care about. These women are exploiting DV for money and literally couldn't care less about it, while a man is actively trying to bring awareness. I didn’t understand it when ppl said women are their own worst enemies, over the years I began to realize it's true.
To me, acting was never something Blake Lively is known for. Every time I heard anyone mention her, it was always about what she wears. That's why it makes no sense how she reacted in the interview when she's known for just looking pretty. I think she thinks a little too highly of herself these days after the movie release.
@@dr.wolfstar1765 i dont think the person in the comment is trying to deminish that, just that she is mostly know because of what she wears (met gala and now what the press is releasing, the maximalist dressing with the florals and so)
@@dr.wolfstar1765she had two lines…..you have to watch a simple favor or the age of adaline or gossip girl to really talk about her acting. She is outwardly rude here for no reason (maybe cuz she’s PMSing or something-but ALL of her interviews about this movie show this nasty attitude. Maybe she’s defensive about it because she produced it, but she has to accept people are labeling this movie a “DV movie” not a “rom com” and she wants to market it as a rom com. It’s just a misalignment in thought and she doesn’t care to accept that.
It was a period piece and the clothes were important to tell the story. Blake lacks self awareness. She is a bully and a phony. The truth comes out eventually
Blake was promoting this movie by dressing in floral prints & does not want this reporter to talk about clothing. Strange. Then when a male reporter ask her the same question she happily answered it. Where was her fake feminism then?
@@beewest5704I agree but for context, the rude interview incident was with a previous movie, a few years back. But the wardrobe for that movie (set in the 30s) was super important and iirc got a lot of positive reviews. So in my view it was totally valid for the reporter to ask about the clothes.
It was hard to watch! The level of meanness those two subpar actresses showed that reporter was disgusting. What has happened to professionalism in this country?
@@laylah150 how was that funny though? The interviewer was genuinely congratulating her and she basically turned it around and fat shamed her… and come on now they’re team definitely briefs them to who they’re being interviewed by…
@ThatOneJayBean fat shaming? Are you for real? The interviewer is the same size as Blake. The way yall are so uncharitable to random ppl (just cos they are celebrities).
I hope this sparks a movement of not only people no longer worshipping celebrities, but celebrities treating others the same regardless of satus and getting off their high horse.
If drugs, child abuse/exploitation of all kinds and literal murder can't get celebrities less worshipped; a bitchy quip definitely isn't going to cut it.
This is her KARMA for trying to ruin Justin's reputation. Not a single person has ever said something bad about him, but suddenly anonymous sources claim he was borderline abusive and made Blake feel uncomfortable. Yeah, right... It's obvious she was trying to destroy his reputation so she could produce and direct the sequel on her own.
All Blake had to say was "thank you ". But nooo, she revealed her true colors and didn't stop the bullying. She owes the reporter an apology. I love the saying, "it doesn't matter how much success. money, or power you have - people always remember how you treated them "
she is refusing to. her people said that as a "woman herself, the journalist should know better than to ask such questions. Of course Blake was offended." Without explaining exactly why congratulations are offensive. The fact that she isn't apologizing makes her worse in my opinion and i already had a low opinion of her and her husband and their plantation wedding
@@iyamideolukoshi9936 Right? Like ok so who DOES have the "right" to congratulate the oh so famous Blake Lively about her pregnancy? Apparently no one who isn't rich and famous like her because otherwise they are just invasive. Does she realize that even strangers will congratulate women on their pregnancies if they have a visible bump? It is not a phenomena that only she Blake Lively from Gossip Girl experiences because everyone is apparently obsessed with her personal life.
And the irony of her spiel about the public not knowing the true actors personality 🙄 it should've been "when you finally meet them your 'disappointed' rather than oh they're wonderful" as she twisted it. The gall of Blake was incredibly cringe..
Blake is a terrible actress. She only knows how to play one character - herself. Self Absorbed. I remember watching A Simple Favor and thinking, oh my gosh, her acting is horrendous, is this movie a joke??
Especially cause its perfectly normal to congratulate someone on a little bump -particularly since Blake has announced her pregnancy earlier. It was fat shaming and rude, no sassy snappy layering necessary.
How would she know? Bullying? It’s not polite to comment on another woman’s body, especially when she’s pregnant. I understand that not everyone is taught proper manners so of course people would only attack Blake and not understand how that comment could have made her feel. All I see are a ton of insecure women jumping on the bandwagon to attack this woman because they feel triggered. 🙄🙄
I didn't realize that the journalist had had infertility problems. This makes it even worse. Even if Blake didn't know that, it was very rude, and she continued being rude, talking to Parker Posey, as if the interviewer wasn't there. Seems to me that Blake has been told way too many times how gorgeous she is. Have you seen her photos before her nose job? VERY different looking Blake. The woman needs some humility. Plastic surgery doesn't buy that.
@arneliashort4647 she was 7 or 8 months pregnant that would be a perceived slight because the interviewer had no nastiness in her Blake did. I was pregnant 5 times if that was said to me I'd say thankyou. It appears Blake wasn't raised to have manners.
@@arneliashort4647 if you are insecure about your pregnancy you don't announce it publicly and even post jokes like Blake and her husband do all of the time. If they are constantly talking about it is natural and seems like the polite thing to do to congratulate them on the pregnancy
Exactly! Ryan Reynols is good at playing Deadpool, but thats all he is....good. Not incredible, astonishing, incredibly charismatic or anything. They are right to capitalize on their glamour, conventional beauty because there have not much to offer lol
RR is average. Average looks, average talent. Honestly nothing special. Blake is popular because she’s pretty. She’s a terrible actress. No memorable roles save Gossip Girl and that was ages ago
The rumors were that Lively allegedly bullied or treated Leighton Meester very badly and that had an affect on Leightons health. Again its just a story, but in light of what we've seen it wouldnt surprise me if its true.
I wouldn't be surprised, and the thing is Leighton has always been an angel. She is one of the most down to Earth actresses. People still worship her (I certainly do) as iconic Blair Waldorf, but after the show she went her own way with more serious movies, she is away from all the Hollywood drama, she is self aware of her privilege unlike most celebrities, she really cares about other and does real charity work not for PR. On top of that she is a great singer, I wish she had released more than a single because she is so underrated.
"This is a movie that covers domestic violence but it is not about domestic violence." WHAT HAS SHE BEEN SMOKING??????? ps If it wasn't about DV then the title would have been different. Jesus.
They're trying to play it off as ''DV does not have to define you"...but when the run time is 90% the DV, yeah it's a movie about DV. The problem is these ppl are SO extremely disconnected from reality they just can't tell when the editiing has ended and it's time to stop BSing now. YOUR version of this movie which is about the heroine getting through DV, and not being defined by it, does not exist. That's not what is on the screen. You spent 90% of the script and run time digging into the DV, so it's about DV. Maybe that's what the creative differences were about with Baldoni. She kept trying to change the script and he was like "heck no, I bought the rights off CoHO! I can't just change the story so it's more positive, light and girly and more romance!" The reality is NONE Of them should have picked up this book. And for that I blame him more than her, bc HE knew it was controversial as all hell. Both of them should have picked another series to bring to film. This one just blew up bc of the pandemic and then ppl immediately started hating on it in the wider community. It's got hate-read, and now hate-watch, all over it. Read the room, it ain't gonna go well.
But that exactly what Coho wants her book to be. It should have never been made into a movie. It romanticizes DV. Dusclaimer: I only read the book did not see the movie.

@@barbara9315 so…. i’m a Hospitality student at SDSU. The degree requires you to do two internships and study abroad. Before I switched into the major, I had already worked in Hospitality, so I had more experience than other students. When I had previously met with this advisor she had given me an exception to not have to study abroad (I couldn’t afford it and I was working full-time.) Fast forward-I make an appointment to discuss graduation requirements. She double booked and asked me to meet at a different time through email (which I had not read.) When I went to her rescheduled zoom appointment, I was finishing a second braid in my hair (I am now getting screened for ADHD), but she thought that it meant I didn’t care. I tried asking about my exception for study abroad, she told me that I had to do it. I mentioned the previous convo, she said she couldn’t give exceptions and so I asked who could. She told me the director could, so I said “Okie, I’ll talk to him about that…my second topic is…” (context for this is that I left the industry after six years because it is soul sucking, so I wanted to complete the internship doing something else). She thought I was refusing to do what I needed to do, when I just wanted options after a career change-I feel like MY personal career should be taken seriously. I just didn’t want to be forced into an entry level hospitality job when I could explore something else AND complete the class requirements. In my defense, I only had one semester left and I had gained SO much knowledge and experience in hospitality already, I didn’t think I needed to take a job that I am overqualified for AND that I will leave after three months (this seems like a waste of time and resources and I am….thoughtful?) She repeated that I was doing my hair and it seemed like I didn’t care. And I just ended up saying “I just want to know what we could do, I’m not sure why you have this attitude with me right now. Obviously this isn’t going anywhere, so I’ll reschedule for another time”
@@barbara9315 to leave you on a brighter note, it’s my birthday today ✨✨ and even though people make it annoying and hard to live and move forward, everything happens when it’s supposed to happen 🤷🏻♀️ supposedly lol
That is what I was thinking at the beginning of the interview. I'm not even a big fan of Jennifer, but definitely like her a lot more after having that type of attitude with the interviewer. And Blake is no Jennifer Aniston, so for her to be so pompous, is pathetic.
I didn't like how she immediately went the route of "give me something else to call you" just because the woman's name was difficult. It wasn't sweet or hilarious to me.
I know she has said in an interview that the secret to her hair is that she doesn't wash it often. Since then, whenever I saw her, stinky hair comes to mind 😂 and here is with a shampoo line 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you, I was thinking about it but thought maybe I'm being biased. I definitely don't want to have hair looking like hers, she needs a deep conditioner, imo, urgently.
For real, everyone us always communicating on her dry hair. Her ego and lack of sel awareness is astonishing to think she can pull off releasing hair products 😅
How the 2 “celebrities “ agreed to go to an interview, then literally ignore the reporter and talk to each other like she’s not even there is disgusting !!!!
I love how you but "celebrities" in quotes. lol. Yeah, they aren't much. It was disgusting. I got really triggered by watching it, kind of out of breath. It was really ugly and cruel. I think the interviewer handled it very well.
That was probably the worst part. I had to pause that rather short video because it gave me such a strong physical reaction. And you can tell by the reporter's fidgeting and her facial expression how hard the first response hit her. They didn't even care, they made it worse and enjoyed every second of it.
That first interview is just so atrocious. I'm happy Kjersti finally got her "revenge". Just goes to show you that treating someone badly can lead to your downfall 8 years later. Also she did nothing wrong! They just had it out for her because what, because Blake thinks she is so fit that she doesn't even look pregnant at 8 months or??
It seems as though Blake Lively and Colleen Hoover have never experienced DV and have no interest in understanding or respecting those who have. Such a shame, and opportunity wasted to bring attention to a very serious subject. Kudo’s to Justin Baldoni for being the only one from the film to bring the issue to the forefront. A very selfless and caring act. He should be getting the attention instead of the silly frilly empty-headed girls.
What's even crazier is Hoover's book was inspired by her mother's own domestic abuse yet the book seems to romanticize the whole scenario. Even worse, Hoover is a Social worker, so she has been educated on DV to some extent, even if she didn't specifically work in that area.
No one should have used CoHos books as a vehicle for this topic bc it was always clear how totally tone death her work is on this topic especially. Don't play innocent when you're tyring to cash in on someone else's pain. The end. There are far better works out there which could have been turned into very succcessful movies. They just picked the worse one and now the movie has the same issues as the books. That's all this is really. The material is horrible. And Baldoni is cashing in on this too. ANY other book would have been better. But he wanted those controversy views and clicks. I will agree he is managing his side of the PR better...but that doesn't make him a saint either. It was still a poor pick for this topic.
@@SloanePaoPowCoho needs some serious introspection. I feel sorry for anyone she was social worker to & her saying she uses their stories as inspiration is such a slap in the face.
Colleen Hoover is a bad person and no feminist. She writes in the worst way and most problematic about every topic. And apparently she covered the sexual allegation abuse on her son.
The other actress is CLEARLY intoxicated. The whole thing throws a weird vibe, as well as the interviewer being sat there with most likely the biggest pit in her stomach!
Parker Posey? No she always talks like that. I mean she could be intoxicated. Maybe she's always intoxicated. Anyway, her name is Parker Posey. She always plays the b****
I always heard that Leighton Meester & Blake Lively weren’t friends/close/etc. in real life, and I always wondered why… this drama puts that into clearer light…
As someone who works in the Entertainment Industry here in London - working with a lot of Hollywood actors and Musicians... this no surprise to me. We spend a lot of time and a ridiculous amount of money creating and protecting images, as well as cleaning up histories. This is why you shouldn't ever worship celebrity. 🤨🇬🇧
Wait wait wait, I am a recovering worshiping celebrity addict, what are the most common things happening behind the scenes that make you say that? From your post I get that we only know the image created by a PR company. What is the truth about these celebrities?
@@Perre_vim Well done! You are absolutely right. As with anything, people put their best foot forward and we present the best side of people for public consumption. It's actually much worse than you think and the irony is that the crazy stories we read about secret societies, Illuminati, certain people being chosen to succeed, concerts often containing ritualistic elements so the audience is casting a spell on itself - live, is really the tip of the iceberg. Most of it is true, with a few silly bits put in to throw people off. The unbelievable parts are actually pretty accurate. It's pretty much hidden in plain sight these days and people just accept it, which is the idea I suppose 😳
Birds of a feather flock together . Her and Taylor swift are best friends. Taylor acts like she is so sweet for the money. She acts just like Blake behind closed doors. A diva. That’s why the two are sick best friends.
I've been a fan of Taylor since 2010 but lately I've noticed just how shady the people she hangs out with are. Borderline racist and narcissistic people... Also her and Blake are practically family. They're probably awful ☠️
Are they friends for the media or genuine besties? I don’t follow their news, but Ms. Taylor seems like a businesswoman to me, so I can’t tell if it’s a PR move or they really flock together.
How do you get offended at someone congratulating you on your pregnancy. Disgusting response from Blake. To make it worse both Blake and the other actress completely disregarded the reporter after that. Talking to each other and acting like she wasn't even there. It was so uncomfortable to watch.
very uncomfortable to watch. seems like Blake went in there with a chip on her shoulder. probably had nothing to do with the interviewer but everything to do with what kind of person she is. yucky.
Blake has never experienced DV. Fantastic. I wish no one had to experience it, but she definitely hasn’t and you can tell by her behavior with this movie.
@@elizabethr4107Yea that seems to be the problem here. She has no emphaty, not even for the character she played. She might not be knowledged over the matter but at least a normal person would not be making fun of it, crack jokes and try to use it for marketing of a brand.
She hasn't but it's not just that. It's the fact that she is ZERO educated on feminist topics. Like girl read a book or hire someone to teach you. But to be honest she is so self absorbed and superficial I think she wouldn't care one bit.
What I find interesting is that you know that you're going to be doing this movie and you don't make any closed social ties to a group so you could actually help battered women get necessary help? Did she just think that that subject matter was going to disappear? I don't know who her PR person is but boy does she ever need some media training she's rusty. Her effect has always been off. It just seems like she's acting even when she's not on camera.
I also think it should be noted that the movie they were promoting was for Woody Allen. Who she has praised over the years, which fully explains her lack of seriousness around any sort of trauma violence. There's clear privilege blindness on her part. Getting married on a plantation, praising and longing for Antebellum fashion, working with Woody Allen, her complete misfire on this films marketing. It's all disappointing, but not surprising.
Woody Allen was a victim of a domestic abuser who lief about him for revenge. Do a deep dive into Mia and the whole screwed up situation with her kids. The woman has always been a manipulative train wreck. Sad too because her father and her brother were both abusers and deceitful liars. She became a "white savior" and repeated the abuse. Dylan (her daughter) was victimized in that home by Mia, not Woody. Just like the rest of the children several of whom have committed suicide. Mia is the ultimate mean girl...in my opinion.
Two rich and famous women mean-girling a regular reporter person. Congratulations ladies, nice work. You should both be ashamed of your privileged selves
Hearing of those two was weird - ScarJo is true A A-list talent, and seems smart and sophisticated. I thought: Not a Match. When I heard of him and Lively - two commercially minded lesser talents, canny enough but not intellectual, both pretty and shallow I thought - Now There's a Match!! I thought they'd have sunny futures though - full of wealth and popularity and be too bland to get on anyone's nerves. APPARENTLY NOT!!
Scarlet is too strong for Ryan. She has a career and a top actress and didn’t want to be pressured into having kids early. Blake is a c list? And is fine being a housewife and she often refers to Ryan as ‘my husband’ etc. i feel Ryan probably doesn’t care about her doing her career because it’s not that great anyway and he’s working hard and making the family tons of money. She really doesn’t have to work but i think she wants some of that lime light and still hope she is young and not heavy. Hence she want to play a character that is young for her age because that’s her mindset of how she feels about herself. I suspect the troubles began with the guy asking the weight because she’s weight conscious because of having kids. That’s fine nobody expect her to be light but she takes it so personal. I feel she wants to be like Ryan and copy Ryan jokes but she can’t pull it off. She also want to take charge and direct the movie which cause more friction. I feel the guy was not into her as she hoped for her ego. Even with the lip reading in which it seems Ryan seems tired and she is trying to impress him that there are more shots to take etc, she really want to prove her worth to him or to herself. Maybe she miss being the gossip girl and not just Ryan’s wife. Who knows But when people start making the comparison to Jlo and Ben there seems to be a correlation in which Jlo is past her prime and still clinging on in a bubble delusion and Ben being the tired partner. I’m sure he doesn’t want to deal with these things as he is successful enough and has a good pr image.
She’s patting the dog on Blake’s lap. The dog’s face isn’t in the shot, but I saw it in another interview on the same day. I thought it was a fluffy blanket until I saw the other vid.
A lot of people are missing the video where she got offended at Seth Myers for congratulating her on her pregnancy. Told him you’re not supposed to say that to a woman. She turned it into a joke once the crowd was silent and Seth recovered from it nicely thankfully, he’s way too nice lol it boggles my mind regarding what celebrities complain about. They deliberately make it a goal to “get famous” or act, which in turn leads to fame then proceed to turn around and complain about it non-stop!!!! Not our problem!!!! Blake should’ve became a stylist I don’t get why she became an actress. She’s not that great IMO.
Interviewer asks valid question about outfits in a period piece movie...Blake: I wonder if you'd be asking a man that question. Also, proceeds to talk about the outfits and confirms that the outfits were thoughtfully developed to go with the story/atmosphere. Interviewer asks about DV in a movie about DV... Blake: Look at my outfits, florals, Britney dress, florals!
bingo. It's really that simple and it went to her pretty little head. I know people like her and I stay as far away from them as I can. So boring, shallow, and mean.
She thinks she is witty, just because her husband is quick witted. She fails miserably and it all comes out sooner or later. Loves the sound of her own word salad, just like another American who married for position.
That was on purpose because Blake said, (paraphrase) 'nobody asks about men's clothes'. Men are usually asked 'doing' questions and women are usually asked sexual and image based question's in Hollywierd.
@@Tia-LouisaI would be annoyed in the context of like those superhero movies where women are always being asked "How did you maintain your figure" and "are you wearing underwear under that catsuit"? Especially by a male interviewer with clearly lascivious intent. But this interviewer was so benign and unassuming, it was in totally bad taste to take offence at it. I think she was trying to imitate other actresses who have properly told off interviewers for sexist questioning, but Blake doesn't understand the nuances of the issue and just made a turd of herself.
@@Tia-LouisaOn purpose or not, she’s still being hypocritical. If you don’t want to talk about the costumes you wore for a film , fine. But to shame the interviewer for asking about set costumes and then proceed to gush over the costumes for the men 🙄 give me a break. The question was fine and Blake was being catty (no offense to cats 🫶🐱)
Blake is really annoying. Someone wants to be nice and congratulate you on your pregnancy, which you announced btw, but it feels like she’s trying to say, “I am so much more than just a mother.” Fine, but I hope to God that if she ever gets her hands on another Colleen Hoover book, it’s not "Verity." If she ends up making "Verity" into a film and talks about the autistic child in it, hearing Blake discuss this topic would be a nightmare for me. What Verity did and how she spoke about her autistic child was truly troubling. I understand that the book portrays her as a "villain," but as someone who is neurodivergent, it affected me deeply. Perhaps my perspective is influenced by my own experiences, making it a particularly sensitive topic for me. What Blake does is a form of "false" feminism. She is like "I bet she wouldn’t ask my cis male colleagues if they are pregnant or about their clothing choices. It’s me, Blake, who is the victim of such horrendous treatment." White women’s feminism is a real issue; they often forget about less privileged individuals, like women of color or those with disabilities. The media creates lies-yes, they did it in the '90s and still do now-but Blake, this is all on you. We have eyes and ears; we listen to the way you talk and treat other people. We’re not dumb; we see through your act. Imagine if Rosamund Pike had behaved this way during the "Gone Girl" press tour. She didn’t. Instead, she shared her perspective on her character and explored how that character became a narcissist, questioning whether it could happen to any of us given the circumstances she faced. ( Amy her character) I understand that being on a set for a movie about dv is emotionally draining. If there were TikToks with the cast joking around after an emotionally intense scene, I would be fine with that. But to ridicule the subject in interviews the way Blake does is just disgusting. Sorry for the rant Ammy and everyone.
That writer Colleen is a bad person, in the first place. People have talked endlessly about how she actually romanticizes abuse. Apparently Justin wanted to make the film properly and not in that way. She apparently also covered sexual assault allegations of her son... Also, Blake is no type of feminist. As a feminist I know she is not. She is just a woman capitalizing feminism to her own individuals interests. It disgusts me. She is zero educated and couldn't care less because she is rich enough to afford not having to be a good person with no real consequences to her. And it's so obvious she is used to having people pleasing her. If she had a ounce of humbleness she would use her privilege to learn from the amazing professionals she has access to, instead of trying to impose her views on everyone like she has clearly done in the creative process of this film. She thought she was having her boss babe moment. Like no, you are being egotistic and turning the film into shit because of your damn ego...
This doesn't have a damn thing to do with her skin color. It's called self-centered and entitled and a personality flaw. So stop with the white woman feminism. SMH
You're correct in saying that Blake has always been 'all about' the wardrobe! Just look at her many grand entrances, especially at the Met Gala 2024! I'll never understand why celebrities who have received rave reviews for their acting abilities somehow think that it gives them permission to be difficult and mean to other people. Just intolerable and inappropriate in every way.
I really hate how she throws around valid female celebrity experiences (fatphobia, invasive interviews, interviews that focus on their appearance) during completely invalid interviews. she loves being known for her clothes but hates being interviewed about it? She doesn't like that Justin asked her weight before he lifted her but tells woman who is not pregnant that she likes her bump? Hates people asking about her personal life but photographs her wedding, home, children, husband constantly on social media to the point that her family's image and marriage are basically a brand in itself and are keeping her in the spotlight more than her acting?
Let's not forget Ryan wrote changes to the rooftop scene during the writers strike, all while pretending he was supporting the strike and his fellow colleagues. Imagine the poor writer finding this fact out during the red carpet interviews because Blake didn't even tell anyone the scene was changed, people just thought she was adlibbing and changing the scene on the spot. Blake needs the crisis manager more than Justin, I'm glad he's covering himself since Blake's camp keeps putting out these suspiciously convenient anonymous comments saying he was uncomfortable to work with. Yet no one has anything bad to say about hom before Blake came along. Asking how he can protect his back because he has previous injuries isn't fat shaming. Kissing for too long and making Blake uncomfortable makes me doubt what she's saying. There are intimacy coaches on set during those scenes and she could have stopped it at any point. Plus we have footage of her directing Justin instead of an intimacy coach because she was controlling and taking over other people's roles
Notice that question about what she is wearing is the same question posed to Scarlett Johannsan during the marvel interviews (Her husbands ex wife). Scarlett had a legit reason to question why she was asked that question whereas Blake was clearly being mean girl 'politically correct' Scarlet is immensely successful and its the reason her and Ryan split. Meanwhile, Blake is probably resentful being in the house all day wth the kids and the first time outta the house she acts like a fool trying to be a control freak with Justin Baldoni. And now Im connecting the dots to where I can totally see why Selena Gomez doesnt want to hang out with Taylor Swift when Blake is around. Girl, Bye with that mess
Blake was trying to be Scarlet JoHansson, when she played Black Widow, most male interviews were asking her if she was wearing undies. Blake was trying to stir a pot, that didn’t need a ladle. The reporter wasn’t being creepy at all, she wasn’t being malicious asking about her baby bump, and she wasn’t being chauvinistic.
I sew clothes from the 1950s. All I care about is the clothes. A movie that is a period piece the costumes are a very huge part of it. She would not have been a good interviewer if she didn’t ask.
There’s even an oscar category for best costume design…of course costumes are a big part of cinematography, especially for certain historical periods. How would someone not ask about that? I honestly think Blake isn’t able to comprehend that.
With the Norwegian interviewer she is not only snappy and rude while the interviewer remains calm and collected- Blake lively seems to be rubbing in her comment about the “lady bumps” as if rubbing inn the interviewer doesn’t have “lady bumps”. Watch you will see. And every question is answered as shallow and with teachy preachy attitude. Blake Lively was not only rude she spoke with contempt and down to the reporter and all the people that reporter represents. Many people feel being “friends” with Taylor Swift went to Blake Lively’s head and bow she thinks she can get away with anything 🫥👎👎👎
A couple of little brats. Kudos to the interviewer. After watching the entire piece here, the author making a colouring book and selling nail polish trivializes her entire work, not to mention that it seems to negate all those who have suffered that kind of abuse and would have looked to the book and the movie as a sort of healing and catharsis. It doesn't make sense to me. I certainly see Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in a different light now. And that girl with the face? In the interview? What an arrogant and privileged little brat. They both were.
I myself would have had those 2 rude women continue their own discussion. I feel for this reporter she must have felt shooooocked seeing grown-ups behaving like this😢
Especially that she has infertility issues and struggles being pregnant. I was blessed to have one child. I had a miscarriage myself and had trouble trying to have a second. And it has been sad, but I’m still so grateful to have one child I can’t imagine saying that, even in a joking manner to another woman because I don’t know their history when it comes to pregnancy. They could have children themselves. They might want to have children or they might suffer in silence not being able to have children or enduring a miscarriage. I mean, if someone said that to me after I had my miscarriage that would also put me in such a horrible downward spiral, that I was already kind of in. I had to continue on working and pretend everything was OK when emotionally I just wanted to crawl in bed. My heart goes out to this reporter . And turning your back away from a reporter, having your own conversation with your costar, and just trying to shut them out, is such a mean, girl move. I’ve had to happen to me in high school and even in the workplace when I used to work behind scenes and film and television, such disgusting immature, degrading behavior.
yeah, i thought of that too. just to completely ignore them and let them talk their little brains out. Rude as hell. It really bothered me watching that.
Perhaps but it turned into something obnoxious! If you’re an adult you don’t need to save anyone in a conversation by sticking your rear end out like that and grabbing your breasts. She’s more like soothing Blake.
As a gossip girl fan it all makes sense now. All of the main cast (including Taylor Momsen who was a literal child when on the show and did a complete 180 from it all) are interacting, being on eachothers podcast etc but blake is NEVER there under any circumstances and they barely ever mention her name. This all makes sense now!
For over a decade, Blake Lively enjoyed excessive and fawning media coverage from mainstream outlets without rational inquisition into the merits of her work. Audiences were TOLD by the media that's she's the "next big thing" and we should celebrate her , even though other actresses were doing more for cinema.
I KNEW there was a reason why i never liked her, ever since gossip girl was on, blake and her character serena just gave me the ick (leighton meester/blair was the TRUE main lead) - and then her being taylor swift's bff? yeah, mean girl personified... also, why is she famous again? other than being on gossip girl and ryan reynolds' wife... whom i'm also starting to dislike because he's becoming way too much with his "comedy" like leave your comedy to your movies ryan, you ACE it in them... stop being annoying 😒 once again, hollywood "celebs" are showing their true colors and honestly, i'm loving it... they've been put on a pedestal for far too long - time for them to get humbled a little.
I remember she had beef with leighton mester I’m not spelling that right. But Blair from gossip girl and I remember that there was bts drama between them
Yes, there was tension on set between them and some reports state that it was because Blake was jealous that Leighton Meester's wardrobe budget for her character Blair was higher than Serena's.
Why are people surprised their hair looks dry and frizzy? That’s Blake’s signature look 🫣 idk anyone whose ever said they want hair like Blake’s but then again I don’t speak for all women.
I'm glad the interview got released. I bet Blake is very mean to lots of people. Parker too apparently although Blake started it and Parker kind of went a long.
@@wordswordswords8203 some are curious why did this video come out now, cause it’s been 8yrs. I think it was the right moment, where people would believe what kind of person she really is. Maybe we are seeing bits and pieces of all the interviews and how social media portrayed her. Overall, it seems so messy.
I get the impression BS sorry BL was determined to be cold and superior before she even started the interview, the other one seemed gleeful that she was getting BL’s “permission” to join in the bullying, charming!
The interviewer was very condescending and a little sarcastic when she said "your little bump". Probably because she can't have children and she said it with quite a bit of envy. Blake picked up on that. Weird how nobody here in the comments did. There's a certain passive aggressiveness in her tone when she says "congrats on your little bump". The two actresses immediately noticed and they ganged up on her. She also probably said smth before the camera rolling. Why would they be catty towards her otherwise?
@@Ariana-wv4pfI attribute that to the fact that English isn't her first language, and I don't think she understood how calling something "little" in English can read as condescending. Nonetheless, I don't think this was her intention. Blake was still very unprofessional.
The world finally sees Blake Lively’s true colors. Such toxicity and hypocrisy should never be enabled. To treat this reporter with such blatant disrespect and nasty comments is downright despicable. Boycotting this entitled gremlin is a step in the right direction. None of these celebrities are worth are our time and money. I commend this reporter for bringing this truth to light. This is karma for Blake …. She joined in on the bullying of the princess of Wales 🏴 princess Catherine….. I am American 🇺🇸 and when she did that to Princess Catherine while she’s suffering from cancer…. Was the most disgusting thing she’s ever done ☑️ this is karma for bullying Kate ….
How do you know what Kate is suffering from? I couldn't care less about any of them. Oh the poor Royals (land pirates). Stealing off the English/Scotch/Welsh and Irish people for millennia 🤣💀
Hopefully, all of the backlash on the productization around DV will generate attention to the real issue and help more survivors to see people care about this issue.
Never notice blake until she bully Princess Catherine while she is suffering cancer, shame on this woman Princess Catherine is a mother of 3 kids and blake bully her publicity, karma is taking course
The silence is LOUD, Blake hasn't address any of this, she's waiting for us to forget, but we're not gonna forget that she's a bully and a narcissist and her husband so annoying!
For me… when she joined in on the “where’s Kate” bandwagon, I lost respect for her. This idea that people got that A senior member of the Royal family can just disappear with no one knowing was stupid and celebs who know how elites work as royals they are closely connected to the government and Scotland Yard, Mi6 etc, there is no hiding secrets for royals so she and all the celebs who hated on Kate should have known better.
Everyone knew she wasn’t well. They announced that she had major abdominal surgery and was taking time to heal with her family. The POW asked for the public to respect that. That really stuck out to me too. She only apologized when she found out it was cancer. Everyone knew she wasn’t well and was trying to protect her young children when the pile on started. Just gross.
Idk I think the where's Kate thing was touching on some important topics about sick leave in the UK. If Kate was getting any other kind of taxpayer money, it would have been cut off while she was being treated. Maybe we should offer the same courtesy and care of health to millions of other hardworking women.
It is good that these public figures can be held accountable for their behavior. They need to understand that the public supporting their projects is 100% optional. They are not above anyone, and no one has to put up with their unkindness.
As another female i will always compliment ones i think are attractive, but i very rarely say it about blondes anyway, as i just think brunettes, especially with brown eyes are more attractive anyway, more mysterious seductive looking! However i did say she wasn't to bad for a blonde, but my male partner does not rate her at all! So there you go! We both think Ryan's co star in Deadpool is way more beautiful!!
so let me get this straight, the person constantly flouting their fashion, criticizes someone for asking their fashion, and who brings their spouses to work events is not supposed to ask about their personal life. Blake and Parker are gross miserable people.
I’m soooo glad more people are discussing how problematic CoHo is!! And you know damn well more of her books will be movies! Why did she have to market this one the way she did??! I didn’t understand it when ppl said women are their own worst enemies, over the years I began to realize it's true.

The past comes back for ya
Karma baby she never sleeps and she never forgets
You go Karma!
It's not even about revenge; I am happy that the interviewer is able to fully be released from this experience and start to heal from it.

This cracks me up because the only thing I know that actress from is being the shot girl on new girl!!
Parker Posey? No she always talks like that. I mean she could be intoxicated. Maybe she's always intoxicated. Anyway, her name is Parker Posey. She always plays the b****

Literally
Worked in hair and makeup for Revolt and Steve Harvey show, I can concur, most of these entertainers are absolutely horrid.

Justice for Leighton meester. Her whole career and health maybe ruined cuz of her cuz blake was jealous.
Can you elaborate on this?
Leighton Meester has had a pretty long filmography since Gossip Girl. She's got a new show coming out in 2025!
Blake has never experienced DV. Fantastic. I wish no one had to experience it, but she definitely hasn’t and you can tell by her behavior with this movie.
But some empathy wld be normal
@@elizabethr4107Yea that seems to be the problem here. She has no emphaty, not even for the character she played. She might not be knowledged over the matter but at least a normal person would not be making fun of it, crack jokes and try to use it for marketing of a brand.
@@PosaPunto She is a nepo baby who got everything handed to her
She hasn't but it's not just that.

What a downgrade lol 😭
@@dulaman ikr. imagine losing scarlett for blake lively
Who knows
But when people start making the comparison to Jlo and Ben there seems to be a correlation in which Jlo is past her prime and still clinging on in a bubble delusion and Ben being the tired partner. I’m sure he doesn’t want to deal with these things as he is successful enough and has a good pr image.
Why does the other actress have her hand all over in Blake’s space during the interview? They were acting so strange.
She’s patting the dog on Blake’s lap. The dog’s face isn’t in the shot, but I saw it in another interview on the same day. I thought it was a fluffy blanket until I saw the other vid.

Interviewer asks valid question about outfits in a period piece movie...Blake: I wonder if you'd be asking a man that question. Also, proceeds to talk about the outfits and confirms that the outfits were thoughtfully developed to go with the story/atmosphere.

bingo. It's really that simple and it went to her pretty little head. I know people like her and I stay as far away from them as I can. So boring, shallow, and mean.
Lively ruined her reputation when she badmouthed Princess Catherine
She thinks she is witty, just because her husband is quick witted. She fails miserably and it all comes out sooner or later. Loves the sound of her own word salad, just like another American who married for position.

Lively dented her reputation long before that! But that was a bad one!
@Hill-d8lShe made fun of her for having cancer
Blake being markled
Colleen Hoover wrote the book because her mum was a victim of DV, then to not even donate any of the proceeds to a charity is inexcusable
Blake shames her about asking about the clothes and then proceeds to gush to Parker for minutes over the men’s clothes. Hypocrisy in the moment!
That was on purpose because Blake said, (paraphrase) 'nobody asks about men's clothes'. Men are usually asked 'doing' questions and women are usually asked sexual and image based question's in Hollywierd.
@@Tia-Louisathat’s not the interviewer’s fault 😭
The question was fine and Blake was being catty (no offense to cats 🫶🐱)
@@SchlichteToven agreed! there’s a time & place to talk costume & clothing choices.
It’s me, Blake, who is the victim of such horrendous treatment."
White women’s feminism is a real issue; they often forget about less privileged individuals, like women of color or those with disabilities.
( Amy her character)
I understand that being on a set for a movie about dv is emotionally draining. If there were TikToks with the cast joking around after an emotionally intense scene, I would be fine with that. But to ridicule the subject in interviews the way Blake does is just disgusting. Sorry for the rant Ammy and everyone.
Shut up
That writer Colleen is a bad person, in the first place.
Blake and Parker’s treatment of that reporter was horrible. They lack integrity and character.
15:55 "match made in heaven, both tone deaf to whats going on" pretty much sums up their awful behavior 🙄
People like Blake know who they can bully and push around. If Barbara Walters had been interviewing her, she wouldn't have pulled that mean girl shit.
Scarlett had a legit reason to question why she was asked that question whereas Blake was clearly being mean girl 'politically correct'
Scarlet is immensely successful and its the reason her and Ryan split.
💯 nailed it.
I sew clothes from the 1950s. All I care about is the clothes. A movie that is a period piece the costumes are a very huge part of it. She would not have been a good interviewer if she didn’t ask.
Exactly
Blake seemed to hate the reporter from jump. Did she feel threatened by her beauty or something?
Someone needs the crisis pr team but it isn’t Justin
For over a decade, Blake Lively enjoyed excessive and fawning media coverage from mainstream outlets without rational inquisition into the merits of her work. Audiences were TOLD by the media that's she's the "next big thing" and we should celebrate her , even though other actresses were doing more for cinema.
I KNEW there was a reason why i never liked her, ever since gossip girl was on, blake and her character serena just gave me the ick (leighton meester/blair was the TRUE main lead) - and then her being taylor swift's bff? yeah, mean girl personified... also, why is she famous again? other than being on gossip girl and ryan reynolds' wife... whom i'm also starting to dislike because he's becoming way too much with his "comedy" like leave your comedy to your movies ryan, you ACE it in them... stop being annoying 😒

Esp as a fellow mother to young kids. Like how cld she?
Lively really thought she had a Scarlet Johansson moment with the "they don't ask men those questions..."
They both need to apologize. I can’t believe they haven’t done yet!
It is good that these public figures can be held accountable for their behavior. They need to understand that the public supporting their projects is 100% optional. They are not above anyone, and no one has to put up with their unkindness.
I’m gonna be the mean girl here and say I never thought Blake Lively was pretty in that face of hers.
Have you seen her before she got her nose done? Yikes. That face is completely store bought.
Stop, she’ll call you out for bullying and have a fake article written about you 😂
Her husband's no JFK he's too overrated!! She just got lucky.
@@joannamillan8882JFK?
The pure disgust about monetizing DV.... massive ICK.
11:14 I like the fact that Leighton Meester is actually the kind one. ❤
Also, the 2016 interview was for a Woody Allen (ew) movie set in 1930s Hollywood, so asking about the costumes seems like a fair question.
so let me get this straight, the person constantly flouting their fashion, criticizes someone for asking their fashion, and who brings their spouses to work events is not supposed to ask about their personal life. Blake and Parker are gross miserable people.
Excellent review! She has been a bully for a very long time!! Team Justin ALL DAY
Blake’s behaviour was terrible - this interview was a disaster.
The real nightmare is that they even acted in a woody allen film. 🤮
I’m soooo glad more people are discussing how problematic CoHo is!! And you know damn well more of her books will be movies! Why did she have to market this one the way she did??! I’m actually surprised her movie was a theatric release…all I could think when I heard about this horrible author was that her movies would be great for crappy Lifetime
Problematic and not a good write in my opinion. No idea how her books are best sellers
