Haha yeah, I wouldn't want to stand there and I also wouldn't want to jump into the chopper after it landed/semi-crashed like this in front of me 😅 Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it =)
Great video! Nice smooth flying down the riverbed. Low approaches to quick stops are hard to master. Start your normal approach a bit higher and think to yourself, forward and down, forward and down. Try to keep your landing target in one spot on the windscreen as you approach. If it moves down, lower collective, if it moves up, raise collective. Manage your speed with the cyclic and slow down gradually to a stop in ground effect at your target. Stay ahead of the aircraft (I know, easier said than done). Keep at it!
Sorry for the late response! MSFS is certainly hard on your system, but you can get better performance than you see in this video. I've got a good PC, but certainly not the best. I could also reduce some of the settings to get more FPS and running two recording softwares during the flight also has an effect on the performance. When I'm not recording my sim runs a bit smoother.
@@vintagesimulations thanks for the response. I am looking at getting me the latest on pc gear by this Christmas. So I’m getting as much info as possible
@@clint9040 If you're planing to get the latest gear you shouldn't run into trouble. One thing to consider is disk space, if you're planning to get a lot of addon aircraft, sceneries and repaints you probably should consider a large SSD. I bought my PC about half a year ago and got a 1TB SSD pretty much just for MSFS and I'm already running out of space. I'm considering to upgrade to a 4 TB one.
@@vintagesimulations Rgr that. I’m thinking that with all the games I already have I’ll be busy trying them on the new rig. At the same time I’ll be spending some time just trying/learning DCS and MSFS bare minimums. All these while I save money bit by bit for the VR head gear. I’ll be ready by flack Friday sales hopefully.
@@denisy6 Thank you very much =) I guess I just spend way too much time in the sim 😅 But as you can see I still have a hard time with helicopter landings.
Both the Helicopter and the scenery are outstanding!
I'm glad you like them =)
Those dudes are crazy...standing around while you were 'landing'! 😁 Great skill, especially the low level flying over the river.

Thank you very much =) I'm glad you like it and can't wait to see your Alouette video! I really appreciate your advice, I'm going to practice this =)
Nice flight over the river. You must practice the stationaries. Greetings
Thank you very much! Yes, I definitely need to practice my landings with helicopters!
Sounds is awesome looks good can’t wait to get this
I can highly recommend it, it's fantastic =)
Future of Flight Simulation looks bright.
I agree! MSFS looks stunning and we get new aircraft almost on a weekly basis.
Nicely done!
Thank you =)
Raise collective right padel coming in
I definitely need to practice with helicopters! That landing was even worse than I remembered😅
amazing !!!!
I'm glad you like it =)
Bạn bay đẹp quá . Tuyệt vời
Thank you =)
Question: is this as smooth frame rate as it gets with the best pc gear today?

@@clint9040 That sounds like a good strategy! A VR-set would be fun too.
what rudder pedals are you using?
I use the Pro Flight Rudder Pedals by Saitek/Logitech.
@@vintagesimulations wow thats some solide piloting! I have the same and having a hard time, guess i need more practice!
