I'm glad I bought the Maguire's brand. I have rubber residue all over the back bumper area behind my rear tires....(odd how that tends to keep happening)...😆😆. I'm going to be taking care of all that and getting the rest of it off my wheel wells too.
so will these work when bugs have been stuck on for years...the car has been through many many car washes but there are some bugs that are seriously stuck....maybe stained? idk also what was that about the clay cloth? what is that and why do you do it? thanks so much
Thanks for this comparison. These are the exact three products I was considering. Nice to know Turtle Wax is garbage. Yikes I'd be turning that cloth a lot. I wouldn't do any back and forth to avoid grinding debris back into the paint.
Jeff, I have been using TW for years and have the same results that you demonstrated. So, I am going to look at P&S Renny Doyle "Bug Off Insect remover" at $16.99/gallon, which I have heard good reviews of as well as McKees "Road Kill Bug Remover" at $59.99/gallon, pricey but if there really is a spray and wipe off bug remover it would be worth if only for the time it would save. Any chance you have reviewed them or are planning on trying either of them?
We would like to get some of those other products in and review them as well. that P & S Renny Doyle wheel and tire cleaner is awesome at removing the brown stains from tires.
Good video, something I need to look into getting soon now that temps are changing and warming up around here. I think TW makes a foaming aerosol spray as well now just like the other two, I wonder if that works any better than the liquid. Have you seen that one yet?
Due to COVID last year a number of products were hard to find in the stores, but these should all be available through the links to Amazon in the video description above
Doubtful it will affect these modern Ceramic waxes, they are incredible. Take a look at some of the videos on UA-cam where people have tried to use Adam's wax stripper to strip some of these new modern waxes, and they are beasts, standing up to several washes. I would just make sure you buff dry after using bug remover, and maybe wash it off. We prefer to apply bug remover when we wash, so it gets washed right after application. Be sure to use a high quality PH balanced shampoo, that is what prevents stripping of your wax.
These products are pretty useless if you have to double apply, buff again and again. Recipe for introducing heavy marring and scratching from slight grains of dirt.
These products will be a good starting point and what we have found because sometimes bird stains can be extremely difficult to get the residue ring to come off, using a clay bar with the detailer spray from mothers or Meguiars works the best an you may even find yourself having to just re Polish the whole car because the polishing phase specially if you're using a dual action polisher can really help buff some of that residue off of the surface of the paint during the correction phase. And then once you get the Polish done and a coat of wax on there you will see the car looking beautiful. watch this other video we did recently comparing the Meguiars to the mother's auto detailing spray and you can see we worked on some difficult bird dropping stains ua-cam.com/video/ri8FfkYfHHA/v-deo.html
@@carbuying Yeah, I did it all the other day after writing this. I washed the car twice, then tried using a soap scum remover with a microfiber bug scrubber on the bird poop ring, it didn't do much. I followed up with toothpaste and clay bar, then Meguiar's Ultimate polish along with a quick detailer, and while it did do some to lift the residue ring, there is definitely a bit still there.
It's impossible, if you have ever driven from Miami to Disney world, or driven across Florida on Alligator Alley, by time you get to the destination you are coated with bugs. The sooner you rinse them off, the easier they come off. We try to do it right away, go through a car wash near the destination.
I love your honest review but i think in my country i rather use turtle bug and tar remover because a lot cheaper then meguiars and mother 😁is and option...because it will empty sprayer at the end😁😊🙏
The turtle wax product does not work on bugs. I then tried the mothers and it worked fine . Your review is ridiculous and counterproductive for anybody seeking the truth .
Lying troll. All of the products work on bugs, but you are right in that Mothers appeared to work better. If you could not get the Turtle Wax to work, you failed to follow the directions. But we clearly showed in this video Turtle Wax is effective on bugs.
Oh,Oh,Oh...it pains me to see him going back and forth with "elbow grease". The scratches, the scratches. People, Don't do this. This guy apparently does not care but if you have a car with nice paint then don't "dig" as he says.
Dude you are so whacked out and just made a complete fool ou of yourself. This is a 2013 Mercedes C250. The same car this one car was used for the entire 30 minute shoooting time.

Nice video, it's just what I've been looking for, and I have to admit that the ending was very nice also
Glad you liked it!

Amazing video. It is amazing the way u practically demonstrated the products.
Loved this comparison video Jeff, would definitely watch more!!!
Thanks Ted!
Are these products safe for PPF Film and Ceramic Coated cars? No one seems to address these questions on product descriptions.
That’s proof your ceramic coat is a scam.

Glad it was helpful!
I’d like to see what products are perfect for love bugs
Do they remove tree sap as well?
The Mother's seemed like the best one.
Tough to choose between the Meguiars or Mothers, they are both excellent. Harder to find Meguiars in the stores, and sometimes Mother's as well.
Meguiars didn’t work that good for me on my challenger. I’m going to try the turtle wax and let it sit longer

So far we only used the liquid
Great comparison video Jeff.
Thanks 👍
Nice video. I’ll definitely be using one of the two this weekend.
Thanks for watching Marcus
I like how all of these products are unavailable right now
Due to COVID last year a number of products were hard to find in the stores, but these should all be available through the links to Amazon in the video description above
Will these products affect a ceramic spray coating, like Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating?
Doubtful it will affect these modern Ceramic waxes, they are incredible. If you have the hybrid ceramic spray wax on there, you can just use a wet microfiber towel.
Fantastic review.
Glad you liked it!

Will any of these products remove bird poop stains? If not, any ideas on what I could use for that?

What about Schaeffer Citrol 266? You gave Turtle Wax too many opportunities to prove itself, and it didn't.
IT will prove itself if you remove bugs same day or within a few days
Is it ok to spray it to the radiator grill? Dead bugs sticking to the front radiator
Yes you can spray it and use and aggressive stream of water to clear it off. Make sure the water pressure does not start to warp or move the coils.
Can the Meguiar's be used to remove bird poop? I feel like it can even though it seems the description doesn't say it can remove bird poop?
I like using either Goo Gone Pro or Citrol 266, best bug & tar removal I've ever used. If you keep your car protected, you may not need a bug remover?

Can you use this on the windshield
You can but make sure the windshield is super clean no marks or smudges.
13:27 "the DeWalt" 🙂
LOL, you caught it dude! We inserted a little comment bait in there.

Which product best for remove bee poop from white car
You should try the bug remover from Meguiars or Mothers
How well does it work with tar?
Works just as well
I used the mothers and it didn’t do shit lol
Are these safe on ceramic coated vehicles
yes, just wash it off afterwards.
The other two brands are best on bugs, the turtle one is best for tar. That's my experience.
We so rarely encounter tar, but next time we do, we'll do another challenge to show how hey each compare.
I also “like to have it nice and wet when I am working on it”
yeah man
Warm water with bug remover works fine for me,also make sure you pass car wash soap first before adding bugs remover
That's a good idea!
Oh,Oh,Oh...it pains me to see him going back and forth with "elbow grease". The scratches, the scratches. People, Don't do this. This guy apparently does not care but if you have a car with nice paint then don't "dig" as he says.
Maguires doesn't work at all. Don't know about the rest but it sucks. Don't waste your money.. and the turtle wax car wash soap sucks too.
I like the car wash at the end the best of the three year I would pick the blonde I think she worked the hardest
Yes she did!
The car with all the bugs is not the same as the one you have the product on the hood the one with the bud the side mirror are different 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude you are so whacked out and just made a complete fool ou of yourself. This is a 2013 Mercedes C250. The same car this one car was used for the entire 30 minute shoooting time.
that turtle wax fucked up my paint
what your reccomendation other than turtlewax with great result

Turtle brand sucks! Never used the last 2 as of yet..will be purchasing 2day..
