Great testing and summary!!! I have watched almost all the MagSafe battery videos. Your video has been the best yet. The reasons are: Your video is straight to the point. You tested every conceivable charging combination and gave charging speeds. You summarize your tests and gave all the data for your summary!!! You did a great job!!! Keep up the good work and you will have a large following. We need more reviewers like you.
That it’s the absolute best review I have ever seen in my life. Straight to the point, facts, clear numbers, and very well made. Keep up the amazing reviews!
Great review! I tend to charge the MagSafe battery pack to 100% before attaching it to the iPhone and then charging via the cable in the battery pack. Of course, it's not as quick as charging the iPhone directly with a cable or MagSafe charger, but I think charging via the battery pack is better for the iPhone battery as the iPhone doesn't seem to overheat when charging. Therefore, I use the MagSafe battery pack as a standard charger and also to top up my iPhone when out and about, which negates the need for an additional MagSafe charger.
Thank you very much for making each and every single one of these videos I appreciate your contacts I have watched every single one of them multiple times now and then I looked and you haven’t posted anything in four months I hope everything is OK excited for new content from you
This is exactly what I need it because I got the battery pack for my iPhone 13 mini I was wondering the best way to charge it. Thanks for making this video. Btw you are very handsome and you got a new subscriber 😉
Very thorough video. Could you check if you can reverse charge AirPods Pro or Android phone with iPhone while this is connected to charger? Or only charges the MSBP but not other devices? To know if it's like Qi or not really.
Great review! Thanks. Do you know if it’s ok to never take off the MagSafe battery and charge via MagSafe battery, will it hurt iPhone battery or actually is a good behavior? Tx
Hi Mats, thank you for your effort to test all possible ways! My conclusion: I can use the MSBP like a normal Magsafe Charger at home and when I have to leave but need more battery, I unplug the MSBP and take it with me. Would you recommend to let the MSBP plugged in the whole time at home?
It’s better not to leave the battery on charge all the time because firstly for the battery health of the MSBP , and secondly it’s not safe for your home to leave things to charge all the time. And the battery pack is the battery pack not the charging stand at the end
first time seeing ur youtube channel and i must say u should be on top keep reviewing try making it more professional promise u that u can make it to the top just remain consistent i promise consistence is the key to anything try hard dream big bye.
Hey mats, when my i use my phone with the pack, i don’t seem to be gaining charge but i think instead it is just losing power at a slower rate. the phone does detect that it is charging tho. shld i get my battery pack exchanged?
That is something i have never heard. In some cases i have discovered that the charge could not keep up with the usage. But that has only been when the phone has been pushed really hard. I would definitely contact apple about that.
@@MK-Tech I have read online that this is an issue faced by others as well. I think this is simply just the downside of 5w wireless charging and/or when u use ur phone to play games for example. I think i will just get an exchange just in case. Also, thk for deciding to contact apple bout this. Looking forward to a video on it, thats if u make one on it 😄
hi, i have iphone 14, is it okay to plug charger to battpack and attached my iphone 14 leave it and charge over night? will it burn my battery health? to make that daily routine?
That should work great to use the battery pack as a charging hub. I have done it so many times without seeing any negative impact. Batteries nowadays have electronics inside that make sure the battery is not stressed over it’s limits.
@@MK-Tech cooool, apple's battery pack is dope! im just using 20w anker adapter, just waiting for your reply , cos im charging it separately , hehehe , soo i will just charge them both over night. thanks alot
Well got damn, i am impressed. This is the best magsafe review yet. You gave all the technical data and how to use it. Thumbs up!
Thank you JonTech!
The attention to detail is legendary
Thanks David!

Thank you so much Tracy! You really made my 2022 amazing!!!
Welcome back at any time! 😃
For the ADHD ppl:
Charge them separately for faster charging but it is faster to plug into the battery while attached to the phone
Thank you so much

Thanks mate! I picked my pack up on my lunch break and just now realized I didn’t know how to charge it . Thanks !
Thanks brother for the review)) to be honest i change my mind to buy this MagSafe.
I’m so happy i added some value to you :)
Is it safe to leave the battery pack charging 24/7 ?

This was the BEST test i've ever seen on UA-cam. 🤩👍thank you very much for this detailed test! 😌🥰
Pretty much answers all my questions! Thanks!
How about plug in both of them?
Good review. Best specs and thank you for doing this and sharing your findings. That was a lot of work!
Thanks for the well detailed review

Thank you so much for the much needed clarification
Awesome video and data. Thanks for this

What about plugging into both with two different cables?
Good job, thanks.
Very thorough video. Could you check if you can reverse charge AirPods Pro or Android phone with iPhone while this is connected to charger? Or only charges the MSBP but not other devices? To know if it's like Qi or not really.
I have tried that and it seem to only work with the MSBP.
@@MK-Tech maybe the magnet closes some relay and the airpods pro don't have the magnet. Guess if it can be tricked with a magnet around the airpods.
Oh wow that’s actually really useful
What if you plug power into the phone and the battery pack at the same time while they are attached
Great review! Thanks.
Do you know if it’s ok to never take off the MagSafe battery and charge via MagSafe battery, will it hurt iPhone battery or actually is a good behavior? Tx
super duper helpful
How do you know when the battery pack fully charged before putting on phone?
I got my pack today and I charged it attached to phone since my phone needed charging I put cable in the pack first
Great video!

I was thinking the same thing
@@Odupree1979 I will do some tests myself and let you know.
@@Odupree1979 I plugged both in and the seemed like the pack did not charge,
I would recommend to not having them attached to each other if you plug-in both… Defeats the purpose…
But thanks for sharing
@@MK-Tech It’s a good question though :)
HOW ABOUT TESTING CHARGING THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME WHILE MAGSAFE IS ATTACHED? Thank me later
Great video. How about with heat in consideration?
No heat issue that I have experienced

Where can I get the battery widget?
From App Store :) it’s called Ampere
Do you think using the battery pack as a nightly MagSafe charger depletes the pack?
Impressive
So it means there is reverse charging with the phone and apple battery pack?
That is correct :)
And what if you plug in the battery pack and the phone at the same time what happens??
Then they just charge the same way as if they where charged separated :)
Does the pack get warm? I’m worried it might cause damage to my battery
I haven’t experienced any heat problem.

It’s not great
Beautiful
What if we plug bought of them 😂
Magsafe battery pack
Huh?
This is overthinking. Just buy a second power brick and cable. Charge the iPhone with the first one. Charge the Magsafe battery with the second one.
