Q. - Why did not Mahatma Gandhi save Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru?
A. - The British Government of India hanged revolutionaries of Communism based 'Hindustan Socialist Republican Association' Comrade Bhagat Singh, Comrade Sukhdev, Comrade Rajguru on 23th March 1931. Same year the British Government of India had hanged four Congress workers (1) Hutatma Kisan Lakshmi Narayan Sarada, (2) Hutatma Mallappa Revansiddhappa Dhanshetti, (3) Hutatma Jagannath Bhagvan Shinde, (4) Hutatma Abdul Rasool Kurban Husen on 12th January 1931. Like there was impossible to save four Congress workers for Mahatma Gandhi, likewise there was impossible to save three 'Socialist' revolutionaries of Communism based 'Hindustan 'Socialist' Republican Association'.
When Kishan Sungh father of Comrade Bhagat Singh had submitted a petition to defence, then he had opposed, and had said "I would not defend myself." Comrade Bhagat Singh had written the last letter of petition to the Punjab Governor that "Don't hang us; Shoot us."

प्र. - महात्मा गांधी ने भगत सिंह, सुखदेव, राजगुरु को क्यों नहीं बचाया ?
A. - भारत की ब्रिटिश सरकार ने साम्यवाद आधारित 'हिंदुस्तान सोशलिस्ट रिपब्लिकन एसोसिएशन' के क्रांतिकारियों को २३ मार्च १९३१ को कॉम्रेड भगत सिंह, कॉम्रेड सुखदेव, कॉम्रेड राजगुरु को फाँसी दे दी। उसी वर्ष भारत की ब्रिटिश सरकारने चार काँग्रेस कार्यकर्ता (१) हुतात्मा लक्ष्मीनारायण सारडा, (२) हुतात्मा मल्लप्पा रेवांसिद्धप्पा धनशेट्टी, (३) हुतात्मा जगन्नाथ भगवान शिंदे, (४) हुतात्मा अब्दुल रसूल कुर्बान हुसैन १२ जनवरी १९३१ को फांसी दी थी। जैसे महात्मा गांधी के लिए चार कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं को बचाना असंभव था, वैसे ही साम्यवाद आधारित 'हिन्दुस्तान' समाजवादी 'रिपब्लिकन एसोसिएशन' के तीन 'समाजवादी' क्रांतिकारियों को बचाना असंभव था। कॉम्रेड भगत सिंह के पिताजी किशन सिंह ने जब बचाव के लिए अर्ज़ी दी थी, तब उन्होंने इसका विरोध किया था और कहा था, "मैं अपना बचाव नहीं करूँगा।" कॉम्रेड भगत सिंह ने याचिका का आखिरी पत्र पंजाब के राज्यपाल को लिखा था कि "हमें फांसी मत दो, गोली मार दो।"
