Zild - The "emo" who people think are just probably going through a phase.
JK- The "tough" one who's just probably too intense or acting out like some of us dismiss so easily
Pao- The quiet one trying to keep it all together and not trying to cause a fuss.
Just wanted to share some of my insights. Very creative representation of how mental illness can affect anyone of us.
lunod is about how people with anxiety disorder and depression or any mental disorder.. they also represent how most people suffering from it tries to act/ hide their condition. it has a very deep meaning and i cant stop having goosebumps

Lunod being performed in an empty pool is on a different level of creativity and synchronicity.
Oftentimes, mental disorders go unnoticed. Worse, they're dismissed by family and friends.
Check on your friends and be gentle with everyone. We may see them in an empty pool but they could already be drowning.

I hope you look up the english translation of the lyrics. It's realize how deep it is. LUNOD is about drowning in your own anxiety. The members of Ben&Ben all live in the same house, and this was all shot in their swimming pool. The violinist in the band, Keifer, shot this video.

In Filipino,
Lunod = Drown;
Pangamba = Worry, Anxiety, Apprehension.
Arte = Act
Arte lang yan = it's just an Act
Based on my interpretation, the song is basically about the mental health of people (FIlipinos), being dubted and questioned, and deemed to be just them nagging during this pandemic. "Nalulunod sa pangangamba" literally translates to "Drowning in apprehension".
Also... some points of the lyrics that were mentioned are as follows;
- Drowning in the anxiety of not being able to pay medication;
- This experience of not being able to be at ease is also experienced by other people;
- and that there is no one there to help them out. "bahala ka na" means you're on your own.

Just when you think the lyrics is deep with it's definition about anxiety and other drowning feeling of a person, it goes way deeper when you know the situation in the Philippines involving the loss of job, vaccination issues, corruption, politics and hate among the people, it will blow you away.
"Sa ginhawang itinadhana" - given the country's history and its people, this short phrase is already heavy. A message saying you will have your peace and someday all these issues (mentioned above) will pass. Our country and people's destiny will be fulfilled.
You should see Paolo's Tiktok Lunod Challenge where he did that note in just one breath which lasted 20 seconds.
the depth is in the lyrics. how can you do a review without trying to understand the lyrics. the despair in the gestures is very much apt to the emotion of the song.
These 3 singers are from 3 of the bestest talents to come out of the Philippines. It’s a gift that these young men existed on the same time line to end up here on this collaboration... I am blown.
