Thank you for recording this hymn. We chose to use it in the zoom service this morning. It closely reminded us of the live singing we like to do within our churches. That is the Methodist churches of Poppleton and Lidgett in York. We really appreciate the work you have put in and that you have feely consented to share your talents.
Hi Alan, glad it was useful. We lucky to have a great pianist/organist and typically there are about six voices. We still record independently. Several of us listen to our own raw recordings and.... are disappointed! We then add a load of reverb and compression in the free audio editing tool "Audacity". We have one trained singer, several in choirs but the likes of me are just "chapel singers"! :) :) As a minister I am always using other people's ideas in worship so it feels like "honour amongst thieves" to share what we've done.
