I have learnt how to take good care of my plants, even the fussier ones. I use humidifiers and grow lights which is why they are still thriving over winter, hence why they look so good 😉🌿
Oh my that cuprea is stunning. I agree my pilea is huge very fast grower and scindapsus crazy fast. Unfortunately my maculata dropped all leaves but I do have new growth from bottom. Right next to humidifier. Difficult to grow in winter because our dry Canadian winters. We are still in lockdown too. When will this all end? Stay safe and healthy. 🇨🇦
The first philodendron you showed its outgrowing its Moss Pole could you instead of having it grow straight up the most full could you wrap it around the Moss Pole? I don't have any plant growing up a moss Pole like that but I've always thought if I did I would twirl it around the Moss Pole and then it would Fuller and use up all the space around the pole and not outgrow it so quickly? Is that possible?
I love all of your plants. I just got a vanilla orchid and I'm not sure what planting medium is the best to use . I was afraid I'm not giving it enough humidity but other people have them growing in non humid environments. Lovely collection
Hi dear you have got lots of beautiful plants. I have some plants but not enough sunlight in my house. Thank you for sharing your videos. Subscribed it
Hi! I am a new subscriber and a relatively new indoor plant enthusiast. I really enjoyed watching your plant tour and am inspired to try some plants that previously I never would have, such as the Spotted Begonia, and your climbing/vining plants. Some adorable begonias came in at my local store and I thought they were beautiful, but I wouldn't get one because I didn't think I could grow it. But yours look beautiful, so maybe I will give it a try. Also, I love the hooks on your wall as well as the string lights. I can go ahead and hang some of those plants on my kitchen counter, creating more space there. Thank you so much!! All of your plants look absolutely gorgeous. It just inspires me to think positive and to give it a whirl! Nothing beats a failture but a try!
Mine has to be a Cebu Blue which was in a 3- inch pot, and (no kidding) in eight months was in a twelve inch hanging pot and had grown to a nine foot spread! It loved the reflected light under the back porch. Now it is just a ball of green-blue in my bed room. XD
Love this really really great idea for a video. Wow the whightii's are so happy in your house!I tried with a plug from Dibley's and it was very sad! so wooo to youu!I like the sound of your birds in the background. Thank you for sharing ::) xx
I must admit I’m soooo jealous of all your plant growth - GORGEOUS PLANTS Here in the west coast of Canada there are about 6-9 months of almost zero sunshine as it’s very wet & dark So difficult to thrive plants at all
@@TropicalPlantAddict I started getting a few but only AFTER I killed a bunch of my Calethea:( So this is my first winter w plants Will be better set up to thrive next winter Hard lessons
Thanks! I actually filmed video a couple of weeks ago on how I clean and shine my leaves and the products I use… Here is a link to the video... ua-cam.com/video/Wonl8TjGb70/v-deo.html
Hi Hannah, I always love the background music to your videos. Do you have it playing in the background as you film or do you add it afterwards? Just wondered. The plants look amazing as always.
Thank you! I add the music on separately afterwards as part of the editing process… Sometimes I spend hours searching for music I like for my videos! 😁💚🌿🪴🦜🌴✨🌺
Thank you! Unfortunately I can’t send the cuttings in the post as I do not have plant passports for them, I have a few around the house in vases and I just potted one up for my friend 💚🌿✨
I must get one of the begonia maculata. I saw many of these in B and q when I was plant shopping but then I thought that it would be fussy. Is it fussy?
I have never grown Alocasia from bulb but with my Colocasia bulb I just keep it in a warm bright spot, a heat mat might be useful! Water sparingly until you see growth, that’s what I do anyway 🌿
How do you care for you pilea plant. I have mine in West facing window but the leaves are yellow and floppy and not straight, one of your leaf is yellow and black, mine is like that. What am I doing wrong? Which facing window is yours in?
The bottom leaves will yellow over time and fall off (like mine in the video). You could be over watering or the soil mix is not very well draining? Mine is in east facing window
would you say that I need a grow light if you have the plants just out of the way of a south facing window, I have melanochrysum, anthuriums and verrucosum and alocasia red, black and sliver? all on on a table against the wall next to the window not against the window as I know the leaves will burn.
I only have a couple now as they all got destroyed by thrips the summer before last. The ones I do have left are growing back. Unfortunately calatheas are prone to bugs
@@TropicalPlantAddict That’s so sad 😞 I started loving calatheas after watching your videos.your calatheas was so healthy and beautiful I used to feel jealous.Good luck with your plants 🪴

My alocasia cuprea is blooming right now. Flower is not that impressive but it has very weird and strong smell. And it doesn't even have that many leaves
Your begonia maculata (both) is the begonia maculata of my dreams. I thought I had a green thumb but mine hasn't been growing as fast. You must have a diamond thumb.
