    Thanks, Jason. It was nice to get your opinion on the V.2 Polymega Universal controller and how it felt and functioned compared to the controller that originally shipped with the Base Units. I'm waiting for my Deluxe Bundle, which should be shipping in a couple of weeks, going by the status page on the official Polymega website. I have the N64 module already, which I received in mass Ultra Module shipment in December '23. The little video clip you posted of "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" looked like it was quite decent video quality. Also, I appreciate the troubleshooting tip for modules that might seeming to be defective, with just giving the pin connectors an Isopropyl alcohol cleaning. It is funny how things right from the factory may have some residue from the manufacturing process or other contaminants that a person wouldn't even think of. I saw a couple of videos how even brand new, sealed vinyl LPs may need to be cleaned. I will most certainly keep in mind that if a module is acting up to give the connectors a cleaning. Enjoy your new modules. I look forward to your future videos.

    Awesome video Jason. Especially where you gave people that tip on cleaning the module.

    Fun fact the Polymega controller works on the Analogue Duo in case you need the turbo button for shooters.

    Gotta ask. What's with all the copies of Lunar 1 and 2 for PS1?

    • @GameRaveTV
      @GameRaveTV  8 місяців тому

      Hey! Great question - it's one of every variant for each game, and then an extra Lunar 2 signed by Victor Ireland. It reads, "You go to 11!" :D

    These things seem pretty cool, but I'm not sure I can justify an almost 600 dollar console to play about 100 games. I guess if I had a larger Saturn library or any library at all of Neo Geo CD or 32x it might be worth it, so far though my paltry collection of games outside of PS1 just doesn't make it a good buy. If it ever hits dreamcast support I'm all in for this thing.

      Did I mention it plays CDRs? Not even kidding, heh.
      But I totally understand the price point issue. I bought mine when they were $300 and $60 for my first module. It's perfect at that price point. If they were still at $300 I'd have even bought the system variant with the new controller, just to have it. But no variant collecting for me here.
      Keep an eye on their upcoming projects. It sounds like they going to have a streaming alternative down the road. Thanks for the comment! :D

    Can you buy the controller only?
    Oh and, playing NiGHTS with anything but a Saturn 3D Controller is blasphemy.

      Yes you can! I think they just restocked them.

    To see two different channels upload two different opinions om this thing on The same day is wierd. Two members of The COE-Crew paid 750$ each and never Saw thier units.

      Not sure who the COE crew are, but mine took two years to get from original day of order. It’s been that way give or take for everyone. Are they US based or UK? I know there was some chaos going on with one of the worldwide distributors.

      @@GameRaveTV they are US-based 😊 The Channel is called Project COE. But yeah, two years is a lot

      No argument there - they were basically made on demand. Plus at least in the early stages they went through all kinds of hell on the production flow side.
      I believe all orders should be in hands by March at the latest if I remember.
      I’m still waiting for my light gun, heh.
