As an American, we have kinder surprise eggs. They sell them at the gas station down the road frome where I live and they're decent at best.
I've never been trick-or-treating, but I am probably the most excited about Halloween. I'm taking about watching Nightmare Before Christmas, horror movies, buying Halloween stuff three months before, and just blasting "This is Halloween" on loop all year long.

When it was Halloween in my childhood my father would always giveaway Toblerones to neighbour kids which were at the time extremely expensive for a chocolate and still is. I used to ask him why giving such expensive chocolates to kids since we all know when we were kids we would always say stupid things. He would laugh and say, "Why not? Getting recommended a week after Halloween how convenient
I live on the northern end of new england, so I always designed my costumes to include warm clothes. Plague Doctor, Skeleton Pirate, Dark Mage, Autumnal warlock/spirit thing, weird No-Face adaptation from spiritied away....
Robes, cloaks and layers. and gloves. Fall is my season man. I get to actually dress up. With style of somekind :P
