This music is definitely not as hard as it sounds. As a group the music sounds extremely difficult but listening to the clarinet music it seems quite realistic
Their music is difficult but when it comes to music like this, really any band could do it if they tried, it may not sound as good as hebron does but anyone can do it. It's all about dedication and hard work
@@idkman7481 not any band can play like this. Our band was probably top 3 in tennessee and we could not play this music. The problem is bands in texas they enforce private lessons from the beginning and practice harder. That combined with more individual music instruction means the average playing level is much higher. I can easily play this because I was 1st chair clarinet but the average player could not
Playing in that high octave is hard, I can play a 6th octave G on good days but I can usually go up to 6th octave E, and its still hard and doesnt sound that good but then again im a freshman and I dont play that high very often lol
Those sixteenth note runs were so fun to watch and were super clean. I am a clarinet player myself and I understand what it is like when your clarinet is freezing haha. Nicely done with playing and marching!
It’s always fun to listen to other bands, but when it’s an instrument you know to play, it’s even better. Its also fun to watch the marching techniques. My school uses bent leg techniques and it’s crazy to march with. But yet the clarinet cam is amazing!!!! 😆
The performers seen shuffling around without instruments are the Prop Crew simulating the boats, CDs, and stereos they push around the field during performances.
Beautiful. Last minute of the show I’m not even in band anymore or a part of this band and I’m getting those emotions you feel at the end of a season😭😭
Also bro some of the best clarinet playing I’ve heard in the higher registers ever, so don’t worry about pitch so much y’all are so insanely talented you put my band to shame
@durkerr3221 I wouldn't say that. Hebron highschool is very talented yes, but colleges have much more experience, and are much more disciplined. Hebron also has a large number, which means they have a large sound. I don't know if they have playing tests, but not all of those kids know their parts I can assure you that. Colleges have a large sound because of size, and because 98% percent of them know their parts. Obviously there are some exceptions where some colleges are a lot less fortunate to have such good staff and teaching. I'm not saying it's impossible, but unlikely.
Im gonna be in parade marching band this summer for the first time and a marching band with a field show next summer. I AM ABSOLUTELY PUMPED FOR BOTH (edit cuz i didnt like the original wording of my comment lol)
Was this a comp morning? The earliest i've ever had a comp practice was before bandmasters and we had a 630 calltime. That was only because they had to move the comp forward to beat the rain so we normally dont even have calltimes that early. I loved it but also hated it lol
This is most likely a average to an above average person in the he ron band, they most likely all have private lessons, and they practice A LOT cause there a top 5 band in the nation
If you look at the individual marching and playing it's not perfect but the show is difficult. I would guess if you took a pretty good big band and had this kind of practice schedule they would be pretty good.
I got a question. How many Clarinets are there at Hebron. IM a clarinetist for the marching band at my school. And next year it’ll only be me unless we get some clarinet next year.
@@owenprice4809 y'all really have half of y'all's clarinets as shadows? That seems really excessive. I was in the Ryan Raider Band and we were pretty small so we usually marched all 12 clarinets. The only time we would get a few shadows is if someone moved in late in the season or the off chance we had a player or two more than we thought of when making the show. Great show y'all lol
i will forever be amazed at how hebron kids run laps around the feild and play this extremely hard music at the same time😭
Tough work ngl😂

@ben our band was not bad. Our concert band was pretty good and there were top quality individual players. Just the average level is lower
Love hearing clarinets in an audible range for marching band😌 the higher the better!!!!

YOU DONT KNOW HOW OVERLY HAPPY I WAS WHEN I SAW CLARIENT CAM FROM HEBRON ITSELF
These kids are amazing! You can tell they have a good team working with them and they have bought in 100% CONGRATS!
My high school school doesn’t even have a marching band so this so cool 😭🙏
So cool to see and hear this perspective!
YEAH CLARINETS UP THE OCTAVE FOR LIFE
The fact that y’all do practice in the morning before school astounds me

FINALLY A CLARINET CAM! Great player!
This band is probably better at some things than my college’s band 😭
or all of them
Most likely everything other than if you band does high stepping, go watch there show from last year
