Thunderiffic Rage Alex only doesn't work on Loatheb and Sapphiron. The others are kinda bullshit anyway, and you're going to want to put something better in your deck to survive a 20 damage weapon or 4 5/6s. Source: I kept dying while trying to Alexstrasza Grobb and Razuvious, but managed to do it.
the whole premise of heroic is its unbalanced... very specific things are required to win and that requires you to build a deck to best suit it. heroic is not even hard its just time challenging.
Unfortunately the developers have to give the AI unfair advantages with cards or else it wouldn't be very challenging. The replay value in Heroic lies in the RNG so it forces more people to keep trying to beat it after losing, or else then you get angry customers saying Naxx was too short and not worth the coins/money.
While luck is involved with some (or, rather, avoiding bad luck), from my experience most of the fights get a lot easier when you stumble upon the right deck setup. Having said that, I do have access to all rares, and the majority of epics and legends, so I can imagine people with more limited collections would have a more difficult time - which is how it should be IMO (it reflects the difficulty increase you'd get in a real raid by being undergeared).
Surprisingly enough, I kinda liked Sapphiron. I hadn't played Warrior in Naxx since the very first week when I cheesed Maexxna by allowing her to fill the board with 0 and 1 Attack minions. Felt kinda nice to beat him via Fatigue today~
Is this possible without Pyro? I've tried so many other decks and still haven't gotten this boss down, and it seems like it can't be done without Pyro unless you happen to get one time with a super lucky draw.
i did it with a paladin deck with feugen&stallag so you get an thaddius attack and with the double double the minions attack you can deal 44 dmg a turn and he will be down some lives from your board clear. The dream would be to draw into feugen and stallag before turn 9 and got the one killed before then, so you can kill the second one in turn 9 and got your complete combo on turn 10 but with some health cards and decent board clear you can do it at least till round 15~. Overall its still alot of Draw Luck but i think its saver than the mage version and cheaper if you dont have acces to double pyro.

For Faerie Dragons you rum Bluegill Warrior and for Spectral Knight you either Ironbeak owl + Fireball or Vaporize. To stay alive and Win Fatigue Race you pult in Ice Barrier and healbot and put out Madrid scientist and Arcane intellect. Other nice clearups are with flamestike and blizzard for huge boards in case you dont draw what you need. For small stuff arcane Missiles.
Out of curiosity, why no Alex? Don't have one on your EU/Asia account (whichever one you did this on)? With all the freeze mage attempts I've done on heroic bosses, leaning back and waiting for Alex tends to work much better (as then a lot of Frostbolt/Fireball/Ice Lance combinations work to do the last 15 damage).
Tyrion is awesome and easy to play it properly, but Ragnaros can be used in both decks ;) I crafted first Sylvanas but I took some time to learn how to use it efficiwntly
Depends on the type of decks you like to play. In late game decks you need those beefy legendaries to win the game, and Rag does this pretty well. It fits almost any late game deck and, with the addition of the new naxx legendaries, is even better because by the time you play Rag, they probably have wasted their removal on the Naxx legendaries :P Another thing is that it is silence immune, which will be seen around a lot with the new deathrattle cards. For midrange and aggro, I'd craft Leeroy first. That's debateable, but Leeroy has a lot of uses in many decks. It's basically a fireball that'll help you finish the game, it combines very well with Huntard, Miracle Rogue and shaman (with reincarnate and anchestral spirit). You could even consider running in in a priest deck because of priest's lack of burst. These are my opinions, but I'm not really a Hearthstone expert. I only got 4 legendaries outside Naxxramas (Malygos, Ala'kir, Greenskin, Gelbin) and I still lack a lot of the epics that are absolutely necessary in some decks.

Thecaki bre Hope it helped :) One more thing is that, while a class-specific legendary like tirion might be really good, you should also consider that paladins might fall out of meta or you might get bored of playing paladin in the future. When that happens, a neutral legendary like rag will still serve for you :)

You cant use Alex on Sapphiron or Lotheb. It will say "This is Heroic now, you can't use those cheap tactics." then it will negate the effect and destroy Alex.

Kel'Thuzad heroic is SOOO bullshit, i had him in the pocket if he only didn't fucking rng my 22/22 with his mindcontroll out of like 5 or 6 cards and he fucking did, while every time i was on paladin when it didn't matter, he got my 1/1's ALL the time, no way that was RNG, just fucking computer saw it was lethal

Totally sick of the Heroic boss fights now. Haven't attempted to beat them since Gothik. Half of them just seem like luck simulators.

Nope. At least, not on Loatheb or Sapphiron. Kel destroys her after you summon her, and her battlecry never takes effect.

In heroic mode you can't get to the 9th turn anyway, they usually kill you if you don't have control in the 6th
I actually managed to do H Sapphiron on my first try with a 26-spell druid deck. However I did get very lucky with my draws.

Hanzhnuk Endo Alex doesn't work against Loatheb or Sapphiron. It works against all the others.

his mind control is random control, use shaman, he is more likely to control one of your totem
