- Toyota Alphard Review: The Ultimate Driving Machine
The outward style of the 2020 Toyota Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge S is exquisite, and it comes equipped with a powerful drivetrain. This luxurious people carrier is jam-packed to the gills with top-of-the-line interior quality and safety features, making it ideal for folks who desire strength and durability with a touch of style and refinement.
Exaggerated grille on the front end of the new Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge S model, which is complemented with excellent 3-eye LED headlights, is one of the vehicle's main selling points. This alone gives the MPV a strong and forceful attitude that draws attention to it both when it is moving down the road and when it is stopped.
The combination of an integrated high-mount stop light and an LED rear combo lamp boosts its visibility even more, as if the size of the vehicle were not sufficient on its own. Although its specific aero elements, such as the rear and side spoilers, front bumper, rear bumper, and side mudguards, the MPV's looks and overall performance are greatly improved.
In addition to its attractive appearance and high level of comfort, the Toyota Alphard also has the ability to get you to your destination as soon as possible. This luxury seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is driven by a strong V6 engine, giving it the kind of power and performance that one would anticipate from a vehicle rated five stars. This motor is equipped with an 8-speed automated gearbox that routes power to the front wheels. It is capable of producing a maximum output of 221 kW and a maximum torque of 361 Nm.
When you are sitting in this luxury Toyota Alphard MPV, you will enjoy a degree of spaciousness and comfort comparable to that of business class thanks to the executive lounge chairs that are incorporated into the middle row. It demonstrates a motorized Ottoman that has a number of different seat comfort options, such as power-reclining and 5:5-split when connected with a rotational center armrest.

The luxury dashboard of this premium Toyota Alphard exudes a sense of contemporary design thanks to the embellished mix of leather and brown, olive ash bar with woodgrain and sputtering accents. You can feel the modernistic style of this MPV. The multimedia touchscreen measuring 10.5 inches provides navigation options, USB input, video and audio playing, as well as a function that integrates smartphones.
The Optitron meter, which is located immediately in the line of sight of the driver, shows information about the car in gentle blue gradients, so maximizing both the aesthetic appeal and the degree of comfort. Its leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel mixes in nicely with the central dashboard, and the fully automatic air conditioning system guarantees that the temperature control system is reliable.
Another factor that contributes to the vehicle's popularity is its user-friendly ergonomic design, which has a Smart entry and Start system, automated doors, and remote-controlled door mirrors, among other conveniences. The hands-free technology that they provide makes life easier and more pleasant overall, particularly for families.
The Toyota Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge S is equipped with a variety of safety features, including Toyota Safety Sense, an SRS airbag package, and a cluster of LED light technologies, to name a few of them. Its safety rating is a perfect five stars. Because of these characteristics, you are sure to feel confident behind the wheel whenever and wherever you go.
This multipurpose vehicle (MPV) readily stands out due to its constructed, technology, and top-notch materials due to the fact that it was purposefully created in such a manner that provides a joyful ride for all passengers. To put everything into perspective, the Toyota Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge S significantly raises the standard for the rest of the MPV range.

I hope it will be in the US 🇺🇸 ....really cool design
Yeah.
That luxury minivan is status symbol of wealth of you live in Southeast Asia. In my country, every CEO, actor, high ranking State Official have one in their disposal
lemme guess, wkwkwk land?
Dionisius Kusuma I would love one here in the US beautiful vehicle.
In America, we use G wagons, Escalades, and Jeep Grand Cherokee track hawks.... or whatever the 700hp Jeep is called
@@instasingingvids3529 I don't think this kind of car will fit with American market. You guys have deep love for SUV, not luxury minivan. But seriously, the back seat in that car is absolutely palatial that even NBA player will have enough headroom and tons of leg space to stretch out
Dionisius Kusuma isn’t it normal to have a chauffeur to drive this car for you
We need this in the USA along with all the other Japanese light cars that Toyota and Honda offer!
Hey guys I have uploaded subtitles (CC's) make sure you click it; when you are watching. You will see a CC button in the bottom right hand corner of the the video when watching on your computer MAC or PC. If you are watching on smartphone e.g on Android in UA-cam app tap the pause button > you will see white dots vertically tap > then you get a list of options > the 3rd icon> tap > select English. If you wish to view without captions just reverse process. Take care guy I hope you enjoy the video :)

I think it will be better next time if you are shooting another video to not move the camera so fast and get to close to the object, better give a wider and slower shot of the object.
Who can I get in contact with you?
@@michaeljordan7733 In terms of purchasing the car? or questions in general?
@@CarBooth1 purchasing. And what's your shipping arrangements?
@@michaeljordan7733 I'm not too sure about that but I have left the details in the video description below so feel free to contact them :)
My dad owned one of these for 8 months then traded it in for a Lexus LX. It was an amazing car and what I loved most were the ventilated rear seats (useful in my country) and the JBL sound system-sounded amazing with 17 speakers all over the car! Ours didn't have the rear curtains though, only the shades. Long road trips with it felt like business class.
Which do you prefer though?
FoxGaming76 YT they are both great in their own ways but if i had to pick one it’d be the Alphard. It’s just so much more comfortable and refined. The LX is uncomfortable over bad roads and feels rock-stiff over bumps. it’s extremely capable over any sort of roads though.
brandon c. So basically, alphard is much more comfortable, while the lx is uncomfortable, however, the lx can tackle any terrain? Based on what you said, the alphard feels nicer to sit in. I’ve actually managed to get a taxi that was a Vellfire, which is a bit cheaper than the alphard, and it was a very nice ride. It’s a bit of a shame that your dad switched out your alphard for a lx. But was there a reason your dad decided to switch out for an lx instead of a newer alphard?
FoxGaming76 YT My father switched to a LX because he travels to rural areas and construction sites for work often! Needed something tougher :)
brandon c. Ah, makes sense.
A car at this level should have screens, a chill box and a privacy window behind the front seats.
In Southeast Asia, this is a chauffeured ride for celebrities, bosses, pimps & nightclub hostess. We always call the middle row seats as airplane seats. Because it is full reclining with leg rest. Driver seat is ventilated. Good for airport transfers. Ample luggage space in the hatch. You can dump a golf bag with a few big luggages inside.
The Alphard has earned a strong reputation among customers for its dependability. Because it shares many of its components with other, more popular models, finding and purchasing replacement parts for it is simple and affordable. The timing chain that is used by the engine does not need routine maintenance or replacement. It's common knowledge that the 2.4-liter engine will sometimes use more oil than it should.
your camera is too zoomed in everytime. It is hard to watch and focus on the things you are showing
The rear door was closed properly. You just didn't know how to open it . When you press the lock to open it makes a clicking sound and then you pull the door up manually.
This thing in Indonesia , sold like hot cakes.
in malaysia its way to common like indonesia
you called that hot cakes, you should visit malaysia more like hot shit
@You heard? obviously it is not a sienna in a different outfit... it doesn't even share the same chassis...
Sadly we are not too familiar with hot cakes here...
need to hire a driver for him to drive too
I swear that double cupholder in the centre console is the same as my 2001 crown athlete vx. Very nice wagon
Change your camera please
I didnt know this car existed. Never seen one on the roads. Just checked the price ...140k!! Definitely a luxury car.
Alphard have brother... toyota vellfire... more luxurious...
Zooks it’s worth it
I rather spend 100k on the new lincoln navigator than this Costco shopping cart
NUT Corporation what’s that
@@kamrulazmi7134 Nut corporation hates this car. They would not know Japanese luxury if it slapped them in the face
Came here for the car tour. Ended up super relaxed with how you felt the carpet. LOL #ASMR
I think people who are new here don't get the structure of my channel which is understandable. a TOUR is when I just show you the car like as if you went to museum and are looking at an exibit you don't care about the size of the engine or HP. Your just looking at the visuals that's the point of my tours. I am planning to launch REVIEWS as well where I get all technical about the cars, which is different structure all together. So it surprises me when I get comments like you don't what I'm talking about... I do.. it's a tour not a review there is a difference. It doest bother me what some people say in comment section, I just expect that viewers would understand the difference thats all.

what is the name or color code for this color called? i’ve never seen alphard with this color, very beautiful and suits the car really well
That is the coolest MPV

That alphard looks Sooo hoooot its much better than the Current Alphard woah
What a scrumptious luxury MPV! I do like its beautiful front end, lots of features and have captain rear seats although due to your phone memory you could not show all the features unfortunately.
It's more of a minivan, a SUV probably won't be as spacious as it.
soo sweet, am in love with this car, next time put tv screen behind each seat
Does the second row seat windows go down
There’s is something you’re sure about the car? Or nah
Is this gonna be the lexua mini van in the usa?
Did not noticed the two panels of switches on driving door and did not shows us under the side mirrors well thats okay
I would love to own this van
That’s not a van
Calls the video an "in depth tour"... Has no clue how to even open the doors properly... Smh...
This guy is an idiot. It's like an annoying friend who got in your car and just starts saying everything he sees. Guy has no idea how to even fold the seats as well. It should be pretty damn simple to figure out
How much price for India. And how many days of deliy
This is highest end of the model this is real deal
Toyopet is a dealership in Japan that is authorised to sell it.
Anyway, beautiful mpv, arguably the best car in the world.
Very nice MPV.
When it is launch in india
I got confused looking at the bumpers thinking it was a modern low rider even though it's not >.<
to be honest the van looks different and cool at the same time
Car Booth, how much are they in US dollars??? They do not sell them here. I would like to purchase a 3 year old that has the 36,000 miles on it. Here in the states, we will still use them. How much to ship them here from Japan. They may be cheaper getting one from Korea and bringing it here to the US, what do you think????
I remember in Japan going in one as taxi; the cab driver said they sell around $90,000 ($61,800 USD) new there, and due to import regulations and taxes it sells for $150,000 ($102,900 USD) in Australia. Japan has a rule that no car should be be no more than 3 years old or no more than 40,000kms (24,900mil) to be on the road. Solely because they want to keep the emissions low. So these do sell a lot cheaper with with some miles done to it. So importing direct used would be cheaper I hope that helps :)
getting a brand new one with full customizations for $79,995. No scratches no nothing so as soon as we saw the price we immediately purchased it.
My country a second hand will cost 100k+ and that could be used only for 5 years
The badge in the front bumper is the company that created the front bumpers
What kind of colour is that?
Nice pilot seat!!!!!
Toyota should bring this to the US as a Lexus VX350
Lexus variant has LM350
Cant believe the one guy who plays mario party with joe got a car named after him
is it a base model?
Surely they must have speed bumps in Japan, i can't see the lower front bumper of this van lasting long without getting smashed.
Never seen one in 20 years.
Love these cool VIP Vans unfortunately they ONLY sell in asian markets, hope they sell in Europe also
Where do you live? This van is pretty common in Britbong.
which transformer is this?
Minivans are dying out in north america but if they were more like this people might actually buy them.
The ultimate homie hauler
That’s a big Toyota Century
17:47 me kinda shocked
"woa"
I love pubg
Me throughout the entire video 😂 typical for an American
Looks like petting the carpet is more important than to show the third row?
Ferenc vad thats right , i really wanted to know how he could go to third row.
Wow cantiknya kaler apa yea.. kaler mpv nie mmg xda jual kat Malaysia.
One thousand times nicer than Mercedes Benz, exterior and interior. You won't be able to get such one at only 140k
*only 140k*
You could get it for even cheaper I’m Japan if you lived in Japan, around 100k+ aud.
Aaaahhhh! That grille!!! My eyes!!! That's horrendous.
Hope that some day this will come to India. I sold my audi a4 this week. Going to buy vellfire which is going to launch in India, this month or the next. But if would launch in India, I surely would have bought this. Pls toyota, launch alphard and not the vellfire. But yes vellfire is also good looking and much cheaper.
What is the cost
For some reason, this expensive masterpiece is very common in southeast asia 😂
Modlelesta rims , front and rear bumper r both factory optional upgrades from Toyota
You’d expect the TV to function when you’re paying 150k AUD for a car like this.
The MODELLISTA is a customisation company that specialises in body kits, wheels for both Toyota and Lexus cars which is an expensive option.
It’s obviously used heavily in Asian countries transporting Asian celebrities around town.
I’m considering one but since it’s an import I’m worried about parts availability, warranty, insurance etc…
Fair effort on the review but it’s pretty messy. Anyway, I will visit the showroom to take a closer look soon as I’m close to the place.
bring these in the usa man
Nice one
Whats the name of the colour of the car
Will never see this car in america
thank god.
Why is a Japanese market vehicle even in Australia? Alot of the built-in features don't even work there...
how do you access the 3rd row?
patrick garant you need fold the 2nd row seats. The executive lounge version the middle row seats are actually bigger unlike the non -executive lounge so that’s kinda annoying.
@@kimjootay2685 I don't see a guy in a "business suit" doing something like that for his "guests".
JakHy 1x7 no, you don’t have to, it really depends on the model, but there are models where there is space in between the two captain chairs where people can squeeze to the back. It’s quite comfy at the back, despite its small space. I decent, but not the best or anything.
Question why they keep making these big ass grill
Basically a luxury sienna. Also what engine is in it
Sienna is in every way (or most ways) inferior to the Alphard/Vellfire
3.5,V6
Why does it have Susuky logo on the front?
that logo at the front is the logo for the Alphard
That's like over 100k omg!
Lexus got to do their design.
In Southeast asia this car is expensive tho,but maybe in the US or western this car should be around 40,000k USD dollar...thats is worth it for the V6&3.5 liter engine..
I would buy one if they were sold in U.S
wow there must not be any steep angles, curbs, potholes, driveways or anything else but flat surfaces in japan.
5:40 seem u don't know how to use remote to open the right passenger door....
Have the way I can bring that van to the USA I'll get one in the USA
25 years
that is crazy 25 years Man United States got to do something like give them permission to us to buy another car for another country and bring it to the United States with no problem weight for 25 years I repeat myself that is crazy

is it hybrid?
Yes, there are hybrid variants in the Japanese market, but I’m not sure about if they have hybrid variants in the country you live in.
When he couldn’t figure out how to lower the rear seats he went to the carpet. Lol
Dude should of rehearsed the layout first
If Toyota made this car with an extra long wheel base, it would be a Mercedes V-Class killer. It needs more boot space behind third row seats to be a real touring wagon
