- Construction of bayfront homes and condos is underway now! With the recent demolition of Off Camera Flats, the residents of Pengasas Bay have been clamoring for more permanent residences that they can call home. Today we tackle the Bentkeel Pointe area of town and build out a large residential district to get our city growing again!

Hello, City Sculptor. I am a fan of your work. I hope you read this comment -- I have a few suggestions for your city. I do suggest having a green city with a high density neighborhood and commercial building (City Skyline), a famous mall or sea side mall, and a place for your tourists to visit. I would also like to suggest that your city has a science, technology, engineering, and medical university, a high school, and an elementary school in one city. Also to have a high end hospital for your citizens, an advance police station and fire station for safety. Lastly, for your city to have a cultural or environmental tourist spot to attract more tourists. Also add some train stations or a transport complex for your citizens and tourists. And please add more trees. I may sound demanding - I'm sorry - but I'm looking forward to more of your videos and content.

Connect the pedestrian path of last build to this build and connect the path by the big tower to the tower complex. I think you would have done that if the building shadow wasn't in the way. Great job as always! :D
Yeah for sure. That pedestrian road / quay end will get touched when we do the episode just north of Bentkeel. I’ll be developing that whole area right up to the freeway in a future episode. Thanks for the great comment! 🙂🙏🏼
I love how the simplest thing of adding just a bit of elevation - the hill by the highway or the raising of the elevated planters - is such a fantastic touch and one that is so easy to replicate. It's a major difference maker between making something look pretty and making something feel alive.
Also wanted to suggest that pointe with the luxury homes would be a great place for one if not more of the signature low density homes. It's 100% a wealthy area and some of the larger mansions would look fantastic as a feature piece for those bitcoin (pengcoin?) billionaires.
Love this idea. I have to unlock some more of those! Will need to build more residential I guess. 🙂👍🏼
Love the rowhome district! You've done a great job of fighting the game and filling in the curved roads.
A lot of your districts are very manicured with perfect trees and bushes. I was wondering if you'd make an area that looks a little more natural and wild, like a nature preserve or national park. Similar to your summer camp a few episodes back, but even larger and more wild. I'm sure the residents of Pengasas Bay will want to get away from all that concrete now and then? Keep up the top 5 work! ;)
I like this idea. I have so much more residential to build in the outer areas, and they could definitely use a slightly different style as you get farther out from downtown. 🙂👍🏼 I’ve got a couple of ideas rattling around my head…. 🤔. 😄
I think the elementary school complex is too far from the core of the town and unwalkable. Would also probably be too far to bus children in from other disconnected parts of the region. Additionally, I would think there would be more beach front properties that would be scattered in with winding roads along the peninsula area, seems like a very desirable area. Just some thoughts. Lovely video as always 😊
Yet another awesome episode in this series of Cities Skylines 2 made possibly by a truly remarkable man who makes all the difference when it comes to pure enjoyment in spending time with someone we all wish we could have as a friend. I don't know your real name and that's alright because I've already given you the name of a great friend that I've lost due to his passing. Buddy was a true inspiration in my life and the bestest friend anyone could possibly have. In my mind eye you and him are a whole lot alike in so many ways so I hope you don't mind to awful much and would be willing to forgive me for thinking of you as such. But anyway thank's for being the person you are and for letting an old man ramble on a little bit. You're very much appreciated and respected by me and all who have taken the time to watch. Fortunately, there are no real problems that I’m seeing so far. Everything seems to be flowing nicely along.

Great comment, and yes, agreed. My intent is to weave in additional tram service as I build out the space north of that bigger road and I actually thought that would be a great opportunity to drop in a bud loop by the school. Thanks again! 🙂👍🏼
Hey City Sculptor I know I am a bit behind on this video but hopefully you still see this. Was wondering if you have considered looking into some of these large signature buildings that you still have to unlock? There are some absolutely beautiful assets still to unlock and it would be really cool to see what you create with some of these.
Maybe do some off camera stuff to create temp areas just to meet the unlock requirements. Quite a few of the really stunning assets are locked behind having a certain amount of level 5 buildings. Your city is starting to get large enough that it may be time to look at all of the signature buildings and get them in the places you want. I mean seriously, some of these assets are the size of a small city.
So….Off Camera Flats, the Sequel? Son of Off Camera Flats? OCF Rising? 🤔😄
All kidding aside, you’re right! There are some beautiful signature assets and I’m trying to unlock a few of them that I have my eye on. In fact, the decision to pursue some of them has forced me to adjust my sequence for some of my episodes. I do wish the thresholds for unlocking them would be scaled down a bit, because you really need to have a massive city to get at some of them. Great comment!

I mean if happen to see a random area filled with tiny oil plots I think we would understand but yes totally agree some of the unlock requirements are so high that by the time you unlock the building you don’t have anywhere to put it without having to clear out a bunch of stuff you built. Based on some of the sizes of these assets that could be quite a bit

Hey there! If you are referring to the screen shot, then it’s just adjusted in the Photo Mode settings. I upped the exposure, contrast, and saturation to take the photo, as well as for recording the Intro and Outro segments. Hope this helps and thanks for the question! 🙂🙏🏼

We haven't built out any slums yet, as it didn't feel like it would fit in. But, I do have a couple of ideas for where something like that may work in a future episode.
