This was a helpful video. Not much info out there. Intermediate is too small for my boy. Good news .. Large works great. XL likely works well since the Ty are just taller. But if you want side doors, you need to check. They stick a little.
This is just my opinion…my Intermediate is smaller than the Large. I still have a bit of room and could easily fit the large in mine. So in my opinion, I’d give it a shot and say it likely will.
Does anyone know if the large size of the ruff land or if a labrador can fit into the intermediate size comfortably for trips? He's 3 1/2 months old right now, but it's my first dog, so I don't know what his accurate height will be in the long term. I own the same double cab Tacoma, but there aren't any clear answers online.
They won’t give you answers because they don’t want the “liability” and having to return them. My 75 pound lab fits well, curled up in the intermediate, but the large would be perfect actually.
Oh and I go on 10 hour trips twice a month and he’s good. I took my chances and bought the kennel before I got the dog, but it all worked out. The large may be the better way to go.
@@AdventureStopwill the large kennel fit in the back? I’m about to buy a new double cab Tacoma and I’ll trying to see what kennel will fit back there. I have to have the single seat still available for my daughter. Thanks
Very cool. My pup will grow to medium size. So I will probably go with the size down from intermediate. I just hope I won't need to purchase an SUV just to fit the kennel. 😊
I suppose you could get lashing straps and connect them to the metal points under under the seat and wrap it fully around the kennel. But what I’ve found is that he intermediate is such a great fit that it virtually doesn’t move an inch when it’s behind the seat. I’ve done 10,000 miles + and my pup is super comfy and safe.
Amazon. It’s in a link in the description. Turns out I don’t use it for that anymore, but it’s great quality once it airs out and the rubber smell goes away in a few weeks.
There’s still some space on both sides, so I’m pretty sure a large would fit too. I played it safe and went smaller…plus it was a killer deal. My pup fits just fine and is very comfy.

So the large size will still fit in the back of a Toyota Tacoma?
Will a large size Ruff Land Kennel fit into the rear seating area of a Honda Ridgeline?

Can you paint these dog crates
With a sanding, I think paint will likely stick to them. Been considering it myself also…like a Battleship gray color.

@@AdventureStop okay sounds great
@@AdventureStop When putting the crate in from the passenger side was someone able to sit in the seat behind the driver?
We're did you purchase the matt for under the crate
