If I’m around I wouldn’t mind showing Alton a couple runs to cut your teeth on. Drop me a message a bit closer to the date

How would you compare this to a Flight Attendant?

Thanks Mark! Obviously this board is great in open terrain but I was really surprised how well it handled the tight trees

Profile and flex look very similar to a deep thinker, much difference from your experience?
Edit: just watched the final comments, sounds like wider taper / bigger nose and longer side cut radius

Yeah pretty much spot on, also correct me if I’m wrong but I think the deep thinker have twin flex so it feels more uniform riding switch where as the straight chuter has a stiffer tail and softer nose. The tail is definitely a bit shorter which helped pivoting in the tight trees. Not quite as stable landing jumps.

Nice review. How big are you? I'm considering the 162 split I found at a ridiculous deal and I'm 6'3 and 220 lbs. I think it'll float fine just not amazing.

About the same, 6’3”, 210, it was floating real nice

Haha, always gotta have a few secret spots. Actually this is above the Andreas woods on Blackcomb, such a great area before the trees close in tighter below. I will call it Chris’ grove!

After that jump, almost a collision with a tree. That was a close one, Chris.

A little too close for sure. Got bucked off the jump a bit further left than I hoped and panicked a little.
