Is The Lawn Dead? Surviving The Summer Heat

Are you seeing brown and the lawn and not sure what's going on? Well, there is a good chance you are seeing the signs of heat stress. If left to it's own your lawn may soon go dormant for the summer. In this video, I play lawn detective and figure out what is going on with the lawns in my neighborhood. As you will see, proper watering is key!!

This is great stuff! I really like the tour of your neighbors lawn and the explanation of different scenarios. My lawn is not getting adequate water and is simlar to your first neighbor example. Also thank you for the trick of getting out of dormancy.

How many weeks will it take for lawns to recover from heat stress if I water it

Same weather here in my area in Wi, zero rain in 3 weeks. Not as hot but really no clouds most days. I'm on top of my water game, but still get a few hot spots. My biggest problem is the corner where my driveway and sidewalk meet. Good video!
