They ran out of Zyuranger footage to use as the green ranger died in that story. Since Tommy Oliver received such acclaim, they brought him back as the white ranger, now using footage from Dairanger.

well if they both stayed base, like they cant transform, the qrex would beat the dragonzord, the dragonzords finger missiles and drill tail would fail agains the qrex's speed and lasers

Honestly, the fighting bits are better when they're played at 1.5x the speed.
