    Bro that 150lb gripper strength varies according to your holding position. As it have longer handle you will have maximum resistance if you hold it close to the coil and will have min strength as u move further along the ends. Btw nice video

    • @DesiGymReviews
      @DesiGymReviews  2 роки тому +88

      Yes in the middle it will have maximum resistance, however it’s still not a true 150LB resistance. Difference will be visible if you use it next to captain of crushers

    As a science student i can explain that these grippers are showing accurate weight of 40 kg
    Explanation - according to science in simple and easy language force acts less on bigger cross section area and
    Acts high on less cross section area
    Since you were pressing them with your palms with high cross section area less force is required as it distributed but when we press them with our fingers they get comparatively less cross section area
    Therefore more force is required as it didn't have enough area to spread
    Hope it helped ☺️

    • @DesiGymReviews
      @DesiGymReviews  Рік тому +12

      They aren’t accurate bro, they are misleading. These grippers are not 40 or 60kgs of resistance. Anyone who lifts weight can tell the difference easily

      Also the metal gripper slips because of technique. When the hardness of a gripper is too much is easier for It to slip. I would say metal gripper of a higher grating are always better. They just requiere more effort and technique. If you know how to use It It wont slip

    Hello! I have a question. Is being able to squeeze 60kg (132lbs) on an ADJUSTABLE gripper.
    Is that considered strong at all?
    Cause if it is I’ll stick with it till I get used to it then move on up bigger.

    • @DesiGymReviews
      @DesiGymReviews  Рік тому +3

      Well I would say don’t get caught up into thinking whether a particular strength level is strong or not. If you’re stronger than yesterday that’s what’s matters.
      And yes, I think you should start with adjustable and move upto steel one

    • @Mash3OH3

      Okay I’ll put it in perspective.
      With the 60kg I can do roughly 3 sets of 10 reps. With a 1 minute rest after every 10 reps.
      Where would you ballpark or gauge my strength is that strong or do I need to make it more resistance.

    I think if you start from stronger one this will make your fingers weaker very soon, so you should start from a basic gripper and them gradually increase its strength over months. This is a safe way of using gripper.
