Hmm! Prank is not too advisable for singles still courting. Prank may be misunderstood when you're still trying to understand yourselves outside marriage. If it is in marriage, it is understood and they know their marriage is secured already.
Please avoid prank while courting ... The likelihood of being misunderstood is very high.
Again, it depends on individual. Why? Because we are on different levels of maturity and understanding.

Listening to this, I think something had built up on this guy's heart and the prank just finished him up. Sometimes it's not about how much you love the person but some relationship can torture you until the person does something that makes you decide to quit.
It takes a lot of time and energy to break up with your SO. The day you break up with the person isn’t the first day you thought about it. He must have already made up his mind, prior to that day, about not wanting to be with her. That whole situation was just an avenue for him to finally do what he has already made up his mind to do.
