I find the multipin magnetic connector to be quite problematic. Optical connector with two power lines would be less likely to disconnect with normal head movement. Next gen will iron out the bugs I hope. Two other design flaws you will soon discover.
Our magnetic pin's ease of connection & disconnection is a feature, not a bug! We wanted to make it easy to connect one-handed and without looking (you can hotswap between our Neckband and other mobile devices without taking off your XR glasses), but also ensure that if the cord gets snagged on something (like a person walking by) that your XR glasses stay safely and securely on your face instead of being yanked to the ground! However, if you prefer a standard USB-C connection, our VITURE One Lite XR Glasses make use of that port in a similar way to the one you described.
They constantly disconnect from the slightest movement. And I am bedridden, so it's not like I'm putting them to a major torture test. Easy to connect and disconnect is true, but the pin alignment is so critical that just turning the head causes an intermittent.
@@neilunderwood7367If you’re experiencing constant disconnection, it sounds like there may be an issue with your pair. It shouldn’t disconnect that easily, and we don’t often receive such complaints. Please contact happycustomer@viture.us, and we’ll assist you right away. And yes, we all use our glasses regularly:)
