The part that bothers me is that this legislation is a 3 year period. Forest were in the Championship for 2 of those years and the EPL has no jurisdiction over that. Forest should be allowed to stay in the league for 3 years before accounts are viewed for FFP. The idea of penalising a team by taking points off them and decreasing their income by relegating them seems a strange way of making them 'sustainable' financially.

Excellent point, and unlike Portsmouth, our owner CAN afford to spend, so let him?

I agree it is unfair to be cross league finances.
Even if they're assessed on a yearly basis after promotion, until they reach 3 years (or fall out of the PL).

I agree its unfair on both team as im everton over spend was on the interested payments that should be under the infrastructure exmpetion of psr and were until last year ehen the change perferamiters half through a psr peroid. If wed sold richarliaon for 12 million more with the add ons and una wed be fine and then were got hit by usmanovs sanctions as usm holding had just signed a 240 million naming rights deal. We alolso 10 mil a year for finch farm and 2 milion yearly for three year of aleeve sponsorship from his other company megafon for the ladies team plus moshiris dividends in one of other uk based companies wihich were valued at 2.1 milion s The better point is how the would any normal business be able to sirve losing 35 million pound yearly like in football it is ridoculous. LEICESTER paid a 3.1 milion pound fine this season to the efl for psr breaches in 2016 when they were promoted before winning the league a year. So you can retrospecetively be done. It would be two years it would only two years beforehand the look at when they come up due to it rolling accounting oeriod of three year, the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons are all in one because of covid and for lot of it there was no tv rights money as it was behimd closed doot sky deemanded it back from the league. Nean while the divide financally the top six and the other 14 (small teams according to richard masters) in realistically only gets bigger

This was our roster after promotion when you remove all the loan players/out of contract players from our squad:
Ethan Horvath (never played in the premier league)
Jordan Smith (hadn't played for the club in a few years)
Joe Worrall (never played in the premier league)
Loic Mbe Soh (dont think he played a minute in the promotion campaign)
Richie Laryea (played a handful of matches since we signed him)
Jonathan Panzo (played 1 game for Forest)
Scott Mckenna (never played in the premier league)
    Steve Cook
    Jack Colback
Cafu (never played in the premier league)
Braian Ojeda (a kid that had barely played for us)
Ryan Yates (never played in the premier league)
    Sam Surridge
Alex Mighten (a kid who has barely played for us in the last 4 years)
Brennan Johnson (never played in the premier league)
    Joe Lolley (soon to leave)
16 players in total. Only 3 with premier league experience. 1 player who had been told he was leaving. 6 players who hadn't/barely featured in the promotion campaign.
We HAD to strengthen. Yes our scattergun approach to signings wasn't the best but it seems a little catch-22 that the choice seems to be strengthen and get sanctioned or add a few players, not be good enough for the premier league and go down (ala Norwich)

How is it fair that Forest can only lose £61m but other Prem clubs can lose £105m?
They’re all in the same league.
The rules do not create a fair or level playing field for promoted clubs like Forest who never benefited from parachute payments in the seasons prior.

If forest get Deducted 10 points forest are Relegated if we are Deducted 5-6 Points we can Stay up.

  • @Toffeeabi81
    @Toffeeabi81 7 місяців тому

What they didnt upto is a points deduction they didnt have mechinism for penalising teams until the day after evertons first psr hearing was annouced that is being appealed at thee moment. So we overspent but they always said it would not because a spirting sanction until everton did it. It would make more sense penalise a team for psr breaches with a tranafer ban or two players reduction in squad size. Dont help teams like they did with us as the muddies the wsters legally if the do it with ove and not others

Man city have committed endless ffp rules that would deduct them seasons 😂
Therefore wouldn't be in the prem. While this is taking ages to sort out, man city are actively playing games beating teams and adding to clubs relegation battles...
When they possibly shouldn't be in the prem... They have well over 100 investigations to go over.

Investigations... Then the conclusions. And if it's concluded that over 100 breaches have accrued then they shouldn't be in the prem... And in that time a team that shouldn't be in the prem has played apart in relegating clubs and stopping clubs getting champions league.
