And what they would do to the burritos of assholes almost makes you wish they just spit in it cause with saliva at least you can rest easy it’s basically water….but when you pop a zit into something, even though it’s minuscule in comparison to the amount of spit you could produce on command there is something about the solid nature of puss and compared to the more liquid state of saliva. And there is no knowing. At the drive through Mexican joint down the road from this Taco Bell I worked at they ended up on the news cause some employee was ejaculating into people burritos and yea that’s disgusting but I’ve wondered the past 10 years how that man was able to produce so much semen and how he got away with Uhm 😶 manufacturing(?) it.

The whole environment pushes you to disregard, and in my case, just despise everyone else. Hold a door for someone? As you said, everyone just takes advantage. You're the doorman now, and no one even thanks you. Need to get off the bus or the train because you're coming on your stop? No amount of polite asking will get anyone to move and inch. You have to start shoving people if you don't want to miss your stop. And that's just basic navigation. Never mind the constant scams people are trying to pull, or the terrible food safety.

It was a culture shock for me when I had to take a business trip to Shanghai and I saw the wealth gap and this mistreatment of people. I described it to friends as a high-tech 3rd world. Ferraris dodging bikes. 50 story buildings with entire sides covered in LCD panels running video and at the base, dirty toothless women with babies begging for money. And I am not talking about a couple. I am talking about hundreds of them and everywhere.
I was staying at a really nice hotel. I arrived late in the evening so I dumped my bags and went down to the bar. I sat at a table by myself and watched stunned as every table treated the waitress like absolute garbage. Half of the people there were from Japan so I thought maybe it was a racial thing. After a couple weeks there I realized it was a Class thing and what I had seen was local businessmen showing their clout in front of visiting businessmen from Japan. No matter where I went I saw people with money treating people 'below' them like dogs. Whether it was shopping or bars or restaurants, the more nicely someone was dressed, the more unbearable they were to anyone they were interacting with.
Treatment of others was bad as well. As was mentioned, it is almost a necessity to set aside a part of your humanity in order to function there. You have to push your way on or off subways or buses or you will never get anywhere. No holding doors for people. I held an elevator door for a woman and six more people pushed in. I had to take the next elevator and they didn't care. You have to be aggressive standing in line anywhere or people will just push in front of you.
It was really sad. I loved getting to see the old gardens and ancient temples. However, once my business there was done, there was never a place that I have been more happy to leave.

Dude the CCP has wrecked China by ripping out traditional Chinese spirituality and morality, which is actually extremely sophisticated and beautiful. I have studied Taoism and I love it, it is amazing. But the chinese communist party wants immoral greedy atheists who worship them/"the party". If you really do a deep dive, communism and cultural marxism has its roots in satanism. Satanism is a very real but occult/hidden spiritual movement and core tenet of it is "the ends jystify the means", ie: do what it takes to get what you want and also "radical selfishness". In addition, if life is meaningless, there is no karma and no god, what does it matter if you are a terrible person? You can be a total demon and there is no penalty so why not? I do not believe this and acrually god is real, karma is real and life has meaning ... but you see how this bad collective spiritual software creates such an animalistic "dog eat dog" society. To learn more see Mark Passio's detailled breakdowns of satanism teachings and mind control:

The message is that no matter one's perceived 'social class' or status, we should treat each other with respect and dignity. This has absolutely zero bearing on a so called 'maturity level' of an economy and/or anything to do with any type of 'wealth gap'. And nothing to do with country/nationality.
Second, You used this 'new growing economy' and needing time to close the 'gap' schtick as an excuse for the Chinese behavior depicted. And that is Lame. Not only that, you didn't stop there. You took it even a step further. Feeding-off that to roll tight into a 'whataboutism' aimed at the US.

My husband saw this behavior first-hand when he was a supervisor in a mfg plant. About 6 people on his crew were from China. The rest were from other countries. He realized early on that there seemed to be some kind of social pecking order in that group of Chinese men. If one of them had a "better" lunch than the self-appointed top man, he'd make them trade lunches. At a Christmas party where there was a spin the wheel for prizes game, everyone got a spin, and if liked their prize better, demanded that they give it to him. I learned from my aunt, who married a Chinese man, that this is how their culture is structured. Now, her husband wasn't like that having grown up in the USA, but several of his family members from China did still practice this social pecking order. Apparently, they did not have much status, so felt compelled to give in when demands were made of them. My aunt was fiercely independent and didn't tolerate it when approached. They took a lot of heat from that community because they "didn't know their place". My husband and I have known many immigrants from many countries, and a lot of them....even if this sort of culture existed in their previous country...once in the USA, everyone was on an even playing field socially.

It's the same way here.in.the Philippines. Around Christmas, a girl visited me in a very rural and remote province, and she came from an area north of Manila. There she works in a factory and.makes about $10 a day. Here in northern Bicol, people only make $5-$6 a day. Combine that with the fact that she was with a Westerner and I think it had the same effect on her psyche.
I took her to a videoke bar and restaurant at a beach resort where they know me and so we would get nice, familiar service. I noticed she would call the staff "boy!" when she needed something or "girl!" at another place we went. I felt she was being very rude saying things like "Boy, we need more beers!" in a very commanding tone. This was not the girl I'd known. I asked her to refer to the male waiter as "Kuya" (brother) and the females as "Até" (sister) as this was the respectful way you address a stranger in pubic..she actually asked me "why?!'
I'm divorced. I don't play games. I don't act passive aggressively. So I told her, "Because you're being fucking rude and demeaning to them."

I live in Switzerland and work-wise I have to go to a lot of hotels and restaurants (if it was me, I would rather cook my meals myself and eat at home by myself but here we are) and I notice EVERY TIME that the wait staff just gots blatantly ignored, the waiter brings the menu, the drinks etc NOBODY even looks at the person let alone say something else but the order.
I notice that because I make eye contact, say hello, say thank you EVERY TIME an interaction takes place and I say my farewell, when I leave.
Now, privately I don't go out anymore but when I did, years ago but doesn't matter, I have a few friends that are waitresses themselves or former waiters: They didn't interact with the staff either.
    Not even after I did.
I have no clue why that is. They are (mostly) not unfriendly or complain (a lot) but ignoring is a form of unkindness in my opinion.
There's a lot of body cam footage around on UA-cam nowadays and you can witness interactions, altercations, arrests and all that directly from the perspective of the police officer and the entitlement of people is just deplorable.
I guess entitlement is a good word to describe the megalomaniac's slash narcissist's behavior in public, with other people.
Maybe it's because there are just TOO MUCH people, billions and billions of them everywhere roaming every inch of the planet.
And the attitude is: Now it's my turn, I deserve such and such and really anything I want, I am like nobility and genius, too, also I am perfectly fine the way I am and if anybody's got a problem, it's their problem because I won't change a single thing.
I don't like people at all but I can't see them cry or hurt because it hurts me literally physically and brings me to tears. How people are so indifferent and cruel, really, I believe, it's because there are just too many.
    What do you think?
Is it just the availability and use of cameras recording the demeanor that's what has changed or is it really the people that changed?

I watched this video a months a go and was furious how some chinese people do this disgusting behavior.
But then this December 2023, I can't believe this happens to my GF, she works as a cashier at a Convenient store and a bakeshop owned by 1 family that i found out to have a chinese blood, and their children went to school in China and graduated in college in our country Philippines. The disgusting behavior of the family is astonishing, The mother who gives the payroll to the employees would actually throw the money into the the wet floor from the window of her office in the second floor. The employees have to catch the money or pick it up on the floor, they even got it in video since it's really common practice of the mother. They are forced to work illegaly 12hours a day, 6-7days a week even if they are sick as long as they're alive, my GF 2 days ago suddenly got hypokalemia and got her 1 leg paralyzed but she was still forced to work by the mother and daughter, they even scolded and blamed my GF for being sick when the real reason is they forced her to work night shift job from 9pm-9am almost 3 weeks with no dayoff and no additional health benefits. This day while I'm typing is the same time my GF quit her job and not saying it to her bosses.
Actually majority of their employees including my GF are slowly quiting their job this December because of the disgusting behavior of that chinese family, it's their way of teaching a lesson to their bosses by having only a few employees left(no more than 4 employees) to manage their 3 businesses by the end of the year.
