This video will detail how to to install towing mirrors and add the power folding feature to get power fold mirrors on your Fourth Gen Ram truck. This kit allows you to install the wirelessly power folding upgrade towing mirrors onto your 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 and does not require any drilling. This procedure also will work for 2019+ Classic body style Ram trucks. This is for Boost Auto Parts Dodge tow mirrors with our Wireless Power Fold Upgrade Kit (for vehicles NOT originally equipped with power fold mirrors). If you have Boost Auto Parts fourth generation 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 manual folding tow mirrors, please reference a separate Boost Auto Parts video. This video includes tow mirrors with running light and signal. The video covers the mirror mounting as well as the wiring for all of the lighting features. Just installed on my 2500 and the mirrors fold opposite of one another!! Ugh. One opens other closes. Any ideas anyone?

Slightly confused by the description - I have a 22 1500 classic with power adjustment and heated tow mirrors that manually fold. Is this the correct p/n & installation for my truck?

Yes - this applies to 2009-2018 Ram trucks, as well as 2019-2022 Ram 1500 Classic trucks (carryover body from the 09-18).

I have a 2014 2500 SLT without tow mirrors. Will this upgrade work out of the box or do I need to get it flashed after installing?

You will need to use our OBD programming tool (ua-cam.com/video/Mk3rZCYaB1U/v-deo.html) if you didn't originally have turn signals/puddle lights. If you originally had turn signal & puddle light on your mirrors, no reflash necessary.

Does it fold the mirrors automatically once I lock my doors or I have to fold it by hand from inside the truck

You will need to fold it using the button sequence shown in the video.

Do you need the wire harness and control box if the truck already comes with power folding mirrors?

After completing install the rear passenger window will not work everything else ok

Im just wondering if you dont get the running light feature do you still need to run that orange wire for the mirrors to fold?

No - the orange wire is only for running light has nothing to do with the power fold.

It will work with the factory switch that doesn't have the power fold button.
