In this day and age all sorts of stuff get transported I believe Russia is up to something like the water getting contaminated ,it all seems fishy to me
Yeah seems like it burned very cleanly upwards for a while rather than blowing outwards, most of the trees and that little house near the site look totally fine, not sure if all the windows are intact etc.
Yeah I imagine this was less explosive than pure gas as I'm pretty sure these tanks are like the waste fermenting tanks, so it's probably less pure than the final methane output.
Thats very frightening, because when safety measures fail you would hope they fail in the least spectacular way possible. I am very happy to hear that nobody was harmed.
I wonder if they even had a failsafe, no lightning rods, or Faraday cages evidently, luckily nobody was there at the time and it wasn't a toxic/radioactive material inside etc.
And People think you're crazy for having gas masks and radiation meters and stuff. What if that had been a train load of chemicals or something.
Exactly

Very interesting. Glad to see that the scale of the damage is quite limited despite the size of the explosion. Good thing no one was injured.

They say it was a lightning strike, however lightning radar didn't show any strikes in the area at the time...
We had Thunder and Lightning about a mile away.
I was at sainsburys and saw the strike
Hope they get charged for the increased co2 emission's during the explosion. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Doubt it
Indeed, they won't. Although I was only being sarcastic as to the green house emissions taxes.@@Weaponsandstuff93
I did wonder about you when that went off. Very interesting vid. I work on gas all the time and it really shows the explosive power!

lots of news sites seem to be using your footage. With permission?
Nope if they used the drone footage they didn't get permission, the other bit at the start is just the image that was on every single news site.
QUESTION! what are ShMS gasmask lences made out of?
atomic bomb reinactment
Nowhere near the scale
@@Weaponsandstuff93 size doesn’t matter, it’s the personality
This is why we need more collieries. Coal doesn't go bang with lightning.
Or they could just install a Faraday cage.
Yo just a heads up, there's an ebay listing using your face wearing a respirator without credit and stuff
Question, if i have a russian filter that was made in 1990 will it still have asbethos
Jesus glad to hear your okay
Cheers didn't seem to thankfully damage anything nearby, but they should invest in a lightning rod maybe.

For the coolest person ever
Very weird waking up to the news there's been an explosion near your city.
Yeah as said I heard/felt it but assumed it was thunder at the time.
What caused the explosion
As the news article states, lightning strike.
Glad nobody was hurt.
Yeah just dumb luck I guess noone was very close when the lightning struck.
I. Hope everyone was ok.
According to the news yes.
I think the independent stole your footage
Nope it was someone else's as they were a bit closer to the domes/different angle.
Ok didn’t know that thanks
it looks like a nuke has gone off
Hardly that would be far bigger and brighter.
Crazy how you were right next to it, but only noticed in the morning sun.
Not the right angle to actually see the fireball so basically just felt it.
That's insane
I’m guessing this was a dust fire that caused an explosion?
Nope biogas/methane tanks hit by lightning, apparently there was no Faraday cage around them.
Seems like a stupid thing to forget to protect your biogas/methane
@@Weaponsandstuff93Jesus that’s a genuine surprise no one got hurt seeing that massive fire
