Thank you Eddie - another great proof presentation. The thing I like about this version is that it also works even when the circle centre is not inside the triangle. I've seen other proofs where they depend on that, whereas your one is more adaptable.
please tell me the college you are teaching maaan! i already know these concepts but u are teaching in very different perspectives i love maths, and the way u engage students is awesome. i always try to figure out different methods to solve for the same answer and you are making the base of maths with concepts, which very few teachers do. i call them true teachers and my inspiration.
I don't know how thanks to my teacher even tho she didn't proved us how this theorm works I have by hearted understand rest of the theorms so I thought of it in both the ways the one that girl suggested and the one sir Eddie taught .....and that girl has my energy am the one in the class suggestions alternative methods though our teacher teaches us the easiest way so that we can save our time in exams but some time she test us by taking the long method to observe if someone actually comes up with a short cut I just love such teachers they make us fall in love with the subject and Eddie ofcourse is one of them🥺❤️

I liked the girl's method on how the angle at the centre is twice the angle subtended at the circumference. Brilliant!

What's the difference between a chord and a secant?
A chord is limited to two point *on the circumference* of the circle, while secant goes across and beyond the circumference
