Thank you Mike. This is what making a difference looks like. Financial and material assistance means very little if there aren't people helping put it to use where it matters. Here in Finland we have a lot of workers and families from Russia, plus tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees. If I could provide one bit of thought that would make my little difference, it would be to for people to remember that the Russian people are not the same thing as the Russian state. The way through is always going to be with the people.

If every day people kept it in their hearts and minds just to do one simple effortless thing that raised the spirits of another than spend endless effort to crush it, the world would be a very different place. You're carrying the effort of a thousand good people with your humanist charitability Mike, thank you. Truly, thank you.

Not all of us can do what you are physically but we can support in other ways. Money being donated helps fill in the gaps that generous people pass through to the centres. Such a moving video. The capacity for people to to good in such a horrendous situation is amazing. It's just so that people are having to go to these lengths because of the madness we are seeing. |It's humbling to watch. If videos like this made it to main stream media, perhaps the reality of what is happening would reach more people, and 'our' government would be shamed into helping more families trying to escape the war.

Thank you for thinking of them. It's heart breaking - and this is just one of many wars happening on our world. So sad. If you are in a position to help these poor people you can make a donation to the agency I worked with. They're called Ukraine Relief and I've linked their website below. ... MB
