Hell yeah! After Gunnar introduced me to Jury Duty, I tweeted him about the Joe Schmo Show (as I’m sure many others did) so I’m glad to see he’s kept the momentum of weird reality TV stuff and made a video on this! Would love to see him cover other stuff like The Push or Derren Brown creations that delve into very similar ideas.
Matt really does just seem like a regular guy trying to make everyone feel comfy and get along. He's a tad crass but most people in life are. He's genuinely a nice guy. So far. Havent finished video yet.

I really hope you watch this entire season. I remember this show coming out and since it was back in the days of cable I never saw it. I'm excited for the next upload.
Seen "The Joe Schmo Show" and it was quite great, least early on, faking emotions partially later in the series kinda drove me away Quite a nice show, "Jury Duty' doing it drew me in and made me think of the ol' Schmo Show, and it was great since it was more honest than later episodes/seasons of Schmo

2003 was pretty accurate about stereotyping one thing about a person and making it their entire personality. Who knew saying "The Trans Person" or "The Gay Guy" or "The Trump Guy" or "The Biden Guy" would accurately describe an entire person's life in 2024?

Space Cadets! I remember that show😂
“He’s doing a gay impression of a guy who’s doing a gay impression.” 😂😂😂😂
The comment on the live of : can’t even remember his own boxers = trustworthy made me laugh so hard
The host: “Everyone’s staring at me and I’m staring back at them and the horse is staring at them and they’re staring at the horse and nobody’s saying anything” like bro wtf 😭
it would've been so good if the picture of Mollys boyfriend was just an edited photo of matt
"We found thousands of potential men" well, you can just ask them... 😅
"Gina your dead to us."
*smashes plate*
"Please leave"
My coworkers dared me to try out for this show since they were interviewing in my city. I did it and never got called back, and I am so happy about that. Poor Joe Schmo.
Gunnar none of this is real, you are living a dream. Please wake up, we miss you!
57:40 LOOK CLOSE - there is what appears to be a Mouse on the floor running from Hutch
i’m in charge of filming you in the shower gunnar, we are all in your walls
I really hope you watch this entire season. I remember this show coming out and since it was back in the days of cable I never saw it. I'm excited for the next upload.
Seen "The Joe Schmo Show" and it was quite great, least early on, faking emotions partially later in the series kinda drove me away
Quite a nice show, "Jury Duty' doing it drew me in and made me think of the ol' Schmo Show, and it was great since it was more honest than later episodes/seasons of Schmo
Jury Duty was hilarious and they all were honest in saying that they played a bit of themselves in the whole bit.
Zoolander came out in 2001. Kinda hard to believe that when he saw Kristen Wiig he was just like 'Oh yah this is just a random chick'
39:34 How dare you come for criss-cross applesauce! Lol That was my go-to comfortable style of sitting all throughout my childhood!!!
"As an eastern European, this felt like a parody of how open American culture is" but every 20 minutes add another "a parody of" to it
These guys were basically the trope folks from The Real World, Where you on UA-cam in 2003! I needed you to summarize weekly
lemme tell you when i hit the 25 minute mark I got sad because I was like damn theres gotta be like no time left it must almost be over, and then i checked the timestamp on the video I jumped for joy when I saw it was an hour long Gunnar video
Yeah Gunnar this is going to bring in the big bucks, especially with watch time! These are videos I can’t pause until it’s over. 🎉🎉🎉
13:12 "This man could very well be dead...and he died....and this is how we know him...rest in peace." Legendary moment.
There are ants in your skin, and we live in a simulation
Wtf
SCHIZO THE VOICES IN THE WALLSS WON'T SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!1!1!!1!11
dude you gotta watch it all, season 2 gets really insane bc its a dating version of the same premise, its all cringe gold
For an early 2000s guy, Matt is actually a pretty nice fella, and an absolute chad
I watched one of your collabs with Gabi Bella, thought you were funny then promptly forgot you existed until I got your Jury Duty vids recommended, very happy I found you again!
Keep up the work. I enjoy the content and love how I could watch this live or on yt.
The difference between this and Jury Duty is like night an day. How far we've come since 2003.
Theres a show from early 2000s from the UK, fake reality show people think they are trained to become astronauts and go into space (a simulator) its sooo funny u should cover that one too
Is that Rickity Cricket from Its Always Sunny?!?!?!?!??!?
EDIT: LMAOOO I PAUSED JUST BEFORE GUNNAR NOTICED IT HAHAHHHAH. I'm not gonna delete this out of shame, I need to bask in the embarrassment
i really have a lot of respect for him hes a really good guy
Oh wow it's so cool that Gunnar is really gaining traction on youtube in reality, and it's not part of some staged reality tv series where a react-tuber suddenly gains traction by uploading content about staged Truman show-like reality tv shows
“Ready! Set! TOUCH THAT HOOKER!”
matt is like that one guy from those highschool drama tiktoks mixed with the guy from Jury Duty
Now THIS is the kinda reality TV I enjoy. I'll be watching this while enjoying a couple of beers myself.
Idk why I thought the host was gonna hand Gina the plate with her face on it, so when he threw it in the fire I lost it 💀 and her exit was so funny
Matt: she’s built nice
Gunner: wow so he just comes out and says it
Also Gunner: the lap of luxury is sitting on my lap
😂😂😂
this is so much funnier than jury duty
Joe Schmo must've walked so that fishtank live could walk at a faster pace
You’ve been killin it man, keep up the good work. Also definitely want the whole season
The first thing he says to kip is "So, your gay huh" LoL 😂
You have to wake up, Gunnar. They're closing in on us. I'm trying to reach you through the mainframe but I don't have m
Lance is bassicaly just the homie acting gay to get into the girls sleepover, but for a mansion
Bro u make me laugh every video, tysm for making these videos man. U do such a great job, I really enjoy them 🫶🏼
They got me at “Gina, you’re dead to us”😅🤣
Jury duty part 2
OMG I'm so happy you did this show, I could cry!!! 😂 I've been thinking about it for years and I just finished the tool academy series. I wanted you to cover this show so bad and lo and behold, here it is!! ❤
I'm loving that immunity robe. Walking around looking like Rick Flair. Woooo!
more of this please thank you
It took me almost 24 minutes before I thought hey he's like a chad version of Chris Chan his face is that
One diffrence I immediately noticed about this show from Jury duty, is that the beggining paints the mc out to be pretty unlikeable. In Jury duty the mc was my faviorite character, but here I kinda hate this guy. Maybe it's to make us feel less bad when they start making fun of him lol.
44:25 That's hbomberguy, from the vaccines:a measured response video 😂
2003 was pretty accurate about stereotyping one thing about a person and making it their entire personality.
Who knew saying "The Trans Person" or "The Gay Guy" or "The Trump Guy" or "The Biden Guy" would accurately describe an entire person's life in 2024?
Hutch stopped touching her way before the "time"
