It IS an experience - HER experience. She is so great at putting her life to song and sharing it with us. Even if it's not our story too, she sings with authenticity that few do. That and her perfect voice is why she's got so many awards. She's a treasure.

Please try to watch when she performed this live at the Brit awards. Just her voice and a piano. The audience in silent awe of her emotion and pure voice. Faultless, haunting and just beautiful., 💖
Adele wrote this because she was so emotionally drained & tired of being bitter in her songs "Rolling in the Deep" & "Rumor Has It" after she was broken up with. He was so important to her & she felt it was time to reflect those feelings as well. It was cathartic for her to say "Im going to be okay." 😢🥰 "Chasing Pavements" is my all time favorite song by Adele. Wow! I ❤ it!

Adele is a rare and unique voice and that she sings with her heart; and you could feel it....I wonder what music she grew up on and what artist touched her heart....
She’s a Londoner. We grow up with EVERY single influence. My mother listened to Motown, Shalamar, Kool and the Gang, Bob Marley, etc. my dad was listening to the Who, Rolling Stones, Bryan Ferry, etc. I had friends from all cultural backgrounds, so I had lots of different influences. I should imagine it’s the same for Adele. If you live in London.... you understand what I’m trying to say. 👍🏽🌹
Adele is amazing. She puts so much emotion into her songs. Throughout this song she sings, "Don't forget me, I begged. I remember you said, Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead." As the song progresses she sings the words like she is crying, its heartbreaking. It gets me every time.
There is so much forgiveness in this song, for him and herself. When she hits that note of desperation, "Don't forget me I beg" I am knocked on the floor. So good! Love this reaction!

She is one of those people who is just naturally and unintentionally funny, she has such a great sense of humor.
