      I have East West Hollywood Opus, what strings articulation style would be best to use to match what was done @ 1:00? Staccato?

    Thank you so much for showing the writing process for making a track like this! As a Dungeon Synth artist who wants to get more into making tracks like these, this is a huge inspiration! Those Kontakt samples sound incredible, especially that choir. I'll be checking out more of your videos for sure!

    Oh wow, great tutorial, so concise and straight to the point, also the detailed walkthrough of how you're approaching a new song, which instruments you add, and what patterns you use for them, are all super helpful tips, thanks a lot! :)

    Stevie, your tutorials and screencasts are always on point, and although concise, however, so exhaustive and thorough at the same time. Invaluable information and knowledge regarding media composing. Thanks so much for sharing with us (me) an aspiring trailer & media composer.

    Really Epic! Was about to spin the wheel in an app to decide what to compose tonight, but after watching this I'll definitely go for cinematic action! Love your objective approach! Do you normally use a template or start a completely new project one vst at the time?

    • @Steven_Beddall
      @Steven_Beddall  3 роки тому +1

      Hey thanks! I have a bunch of different templates I use depending on the style / genre :)

      @@Steven_Beddall nice to have with cinematic stuff at least but I keep making new ones for every song 😂 by the way how is this type of music doing at the stock music sites? Epic in general and what libraries are best for orchestral? I get so bored when writing corporate and stuff.
      I've also noticed that everyone started selling epic tracks for 5$ on audiojungle 😳

    • @Steven_Beddall
      @Steven_Beddall  3 роки тому +1

      @@Epicator My epic stuff always did pretty well on Audiojungle, and does alright on 100Audio too, I might try them out if you haven't already!

    • @Epicator
      @Epicator 3 роки тому +1

      @@Steven_Beddall thanks a lot! Definitely wanna try 100audio, on my bucket list. So is Wizzy sounds and Vfine but the other too might be for orchestral but I don't know. I'd like to find out about a production music library that has main focus on orchestral film style music to join at some point this year.

    Great stuff. What's your take on quantising this kind of music? And what choir are you using. I have ni komplete ultimate 12 and still discovering new sounds but the choir doesn't sound that epic.

    • @Steven_Beddall
      @Steven_Beddall  3 роки тому

      Thanks! Performance Samples Oceania for the choir. Quantization is fine but humanization can really help too!

    Hi Stevie! I would like to show you a small collection of 6 songs I recorded in order to sell them on libraries. Knowing your honest opinion about them and which libraries are the ones you think my songs would fit it better would be really helpful for me at this point since I am new to this business and I don't want to close doors too quickly. Is there any Patreon tier that could offer me that? I could pay you through PayPal too if you prefer, but I would also like to watch your production tutorials so maybe Patreon is better in that regard. Thank you in advance!

    • @Steven_Beddall
      @Steven_Beddall  3 роки тому

      Yes, for sure please feel free to check out the link to Patreon. The current $5 tier has the option for feedback on single tracks. If you need feedback on a collection of songs, please hit me up over email and we can try to work something out! Cheers :)
