Hello I just got out of the ER from extreme sudden pelvic pain and the ultra sound findings say I have 2 cysts on each ovary.. Solid and irregular and it's saying O Rads 5. I was really thinking the cysts were normal and wasn't going to bother going to the specialist but this video has really pushed me to go. So is it really that high of a chance I have ovarian cancer?? Both ovaries the cysts were ORAD 5.
Hello! I'm sorry to hear about your experience. The O-RADS 5 category indicates a high risk (greater than 50%) of malignancy. It's important to note that while this category suggests a high risk, it is not a definitive diagnosis of cancer. Further diagnostic steps, such as a biopsy or surgical evaluation, are usually required to confirm the presence of cancer. Your doctor will likely recommend additional tests and consults with specialists, such as a gynecologic oncologist, to determine the best course of action.
Hello i’ve been in and out of the emergency room because of pelvic pain. I had my ultrasound last week i havent seen my gp since then,i received a copy of my ultrasound . RT ADNEXA dist1 5.33cm dist2 2.12 cm dist3 3.84cm the volume is 22.7ml is that normal? I still have pain in my pelvic area and i’m still waiting for my gp to read my ultrasound
I'm sorry to hear about that. The ultrasound measurements in the right adnexa may indicate an enlarged ovary, a cyst or other abnormality. Is this the full ultrasound report impression/comments? It is important to follow up as soon as possible. Best Wishes!
