I used the short plug, I think I forgot to use the 2nd O ring, so I see some water below the drain plug, any idea how to remove the plug so I can insert the O ring
Thank you so much, this safe my trans. I put the short one 2 weeks ago, and one day the short one came loose. I found this video right after thank god !!! You guys are the best keep it up.
At the end of this video where you're showing how the manual trans plug works, the suggested thumbnails are in the way and I can't see how it works. Not sure what you can do but UA-cam is ruining your amazing videos. Thanks for showing us your dissection!
My 2003 bmw 325i radiator coolant drain plug is leakijg so i am not sure if only i have to replace the blue plug or beside that replace the black tube too
I just repaired OFHG and I'm paranoid about the automatic transmission cooler. When flushing the radiator, the oring on the top part of the plug broke, didn't pay attention to and kept flushing the radiator. There's not a chance coolant went into the transmission because of that, right? I've replaced the oring after the job was done.
Bit late for me mate i used short one on auto as company recommended it was aftermarket radiator n ny transmission is slipping now n big jerk on reverse when car is cold it drive normal when it gets to opreating temp starts jerking u think if i change it now could save my transmission 🤔😔
Hi . I just wana ask why the transmission cooler takes water from the left side of the radiator ( side of higher hose that suppose to be the hot side) ?
Hello! So I’m having this same problem with my drainage plug for my bmw, they sent me a long and short plug, but the long one they sent me is actually the short one , and isn’t long enough. I’ve been looking online for a long drainage plug for automatic, but I can’t find the exact one you have in this video . I specifically need the one that has the longer threads, would you happen to know where to get one? I wouldn’t wanna have to buy a new radiator just for that specific piece:(
FOR EVERYONES INFORMATION, YOU NEED 2 SHORT PLUGS FOR A MANUAL TRANSMISSION!!! Good luck finding one! You need to buy a totally different radiator, they dont sell just the plug
I'm really feeling some type of way. Why would you make a video about size but not include the correct wrench to remove the plug or even show how to do it ?smh

Thanks for the quick answer. My new replacement radiator did not have any instructions. Great job.
Automatic transmission = long plug. Manual transmission = short plug.

@@nivashenpillay4236 yo bro same thing happend to me i installed the short one just today and its leaking from the plug

Fixing up my mum's E83 radiator, cheers for the details.
Is it screwed on like a normal screw?

Does having the wrong short or long plug give you a low coolant light on the dhasblard ?

Donde puedo encontrar ese exactamente, veo otros que tienen para ajustar pero se ve diferente. Ayuda please
What if you have the slapstick option?
I changed my radiator following your instructions thank you
Any links?
Please which socket should I use long or short?
What is the part number for automatic
I over torqued mine and now it’s leaking. What do I do?? I just bought a new radiator
mine is also leaking, is it possible it came defective ?
I cant see what happens with the manual plug in because it pops suggested videos and they wont let me see the most important part of the vid!
I have right now a situation, I'm installing a new radiator in a 325xi with manual transmission, im putting the short plug and still leaking
Hey, do you know where I can get aftermarket plug for auto in the EU? I need the large one with the threads on the bottom as Im not bmw own one fits
Mine keeps falling....and I lose all coolant...do I have to change it if I took it off?
Did you find out what the issue was? I’m having the same issue?
Could you please help me answer, so you are saying the Driver side takes the Long Plug what about the passenger side?
Yea these dumb asses only explain one side
Depends if you have aftercooler you use long one, if you don't use short one.

Did you find it ?
Having this same issue
Where can I find that threaded short plug? I can only find threaded long and unthreaded short ones.
Where did you find threaded long plug?
the last 3 seconds golden
You guys covered the screen in your suggested videos and blocked the demonstration of the manual transmission drain plug....
Yep...that pissed me off. The only thing I wanted to see from the video and it gets blocked off!
I couldn't see the last part because the four icons for the next videos coming up blocked what you were explaining.
Can you give me OE number for the shorter one? I can not find any.
Aye yoo who else watch this shit after it started leaking ?🤦♂️😂
My fucken radiator plug just ejected itself and lost all my coolant
I bought a behr automatic transmission radiator but it didn’t come with either one, so I’m hoping it didn’t need it
Dude same here, it wouldn’t mess it up cause ours are plugs with no stick part, so water will still flow.. did yours leak? Just put mine in today
Thanks for that info!!!!!!
I love you guy but the talking is excessive when it comes to directions versus knowing why why why
