I am also from a Muslim.. for Muslim adoption is a issue when it comes to porda , because if you take a girl as daughter when she reached marriageable age she have to do porda before her adopted father brother or others man family members...same goes for a Son ...And you can't hide the fact that they r adopted from them. that's why some people take it as complicated things...But if you want to adopt a child then make sure u can assure her enough safety and porda...❤

As someone with a highly passable genetic learning disability, I have always thought of adoption since I know if I have a kid then my kid will have to struggle or could have it worse bcoz of my genes. So many of us wants to adopt but unfortunately its not at all easy in India. You have to be childless as a couple inorder to adopt. That too they will put you on a waiting list. You never even know if you will get a child to adopt. My mom's colleague adopted a girl, she looked exactly like the adoptive parents. When we asked how, even these were considered in adoption it seems. That the child should look like the adoptive parents!

As someone with a highly passable genetic learning disability, I have always thought of adoption since I know if I have a kid then my kid will have to struggle or could have it worse bcoz of my genes. I always think everyone should adopt atleast one child. We already are very overpopulated. We always blame government but overpopulation is one of the main coz of poverty and unemployment.
