- Finally got around to doing a play through for Head Hunter. The bass is a Kiesel PB series classic. I can't thank them enough for supporting DGD and letting us use these high quality instruments. The tone chain for this was a noble DI spit into a geddy lee sansamp for distortion and a Darkglass ultra X for the deep low end and cab simulation.

To be honest I had no idea about who he was, but wow, his bass lines are amazing. I wish I would've known about the band long ago and not because of his passing... RIP.
If you liked Head Hunter, check out the rest of their catalog. I've never really been been into screamo/post-hardcore genre. I couldn't name 5 bands from the genre. But I've been listening to DGD religiously since Mothership dropped in 2016. They are incredible both live and in studio. Tim will be sorely missed. Their next bassist has some big shoes to fill.

Tim, your bass playing is amazing, and even going out of my way trying to hear it in dgd is so difficult. If you have any say in it, please boost the volume of the bass track in the future!!

Instant Gratification is probably the best mixed album in terms of bass. Could be a reason why it's still my favourite one.
Alex Vickrey there’s a lot going on in the songs and sometimes the bass can just murk up a mix. On the new album I used quite a few different basses but the noble amp is in the chain the entire record which holds the fundamental bottom end down really well.
George K. It’s Bc it’s mostly a stingray bass. There’s a few songs on the new album with that sound we got on IG.

This was my favorite bass line from DGD, possibly my top favorite. It was complicated, fun, and amazing to hear over and over again. I don't get as excited over other bass players in the game nowadays as I get excited for DGD releases. It fucking sucks that you're gone. RIP Tim Feerick.
