Great to see in my younger days I did a lot of autogenous welding in de central heathing and later welding in construction . But now I struggle with electric welding 1.5 mm pipe. A pulse mig welder seems to be the answer . What are some good welding machines for infrequent light work up to 3 mm
Brad, have you put out a video on buying a used Everlast tig welders? Obviously buying new is ideal, but the price of some of the tig machines make it a big investment. I found a Powertig 200DX with dual voltage for $200. I normally mig weld, but I have tig welded with my 160STH. I want to try the benefits of pulse and experiment with welding aluminum and this 200DX has these features. Are the older machines light years away from the technology in the new machines like 200DV?
I have an old Miller Syncrowave 300 transformer welder with no pulse or other fancy features and you are certainly trying to get me to by one of these Everlast inverter welders :( If Uncle Sam doesn't hit my wallet too hard on tax day I may be getting a late Christmas present for my business.
I realy appreciate this video... but need some advice or a video of butt welding 0.038" thick galvanized autobody panels.. ie for patch panels .. i would love a part 2 video on butt weld on tip tricks see a on tacking body panel ie fusion welding I find it challenging blowing holes along the but seams.. im using everlast mts 252 welder What tungston rod size should be using? 1mm or 2.4 mm 2% lanthanated... also any tips on welder setting for tack spot welding. Currently using basic gass lens for my 2.4 mm tunston
Hello hello like 👍 all videos! Please guys I have a 225mts cuestión the wire on the mig gun is taking a while to get run is that normal o something wrong on the machine! Please I love if you make a video using the 225mts with mig aluminum 🙏🙏🙏👍
What amperage? Cup size? Tungsten? CFH? Thanks I’m still learning tig with my mts 225! Appreciate any info to help me!! Thx guys keep up the good vids!
Cup is an edge shorty 15 (920 series), tungsten is arczon arc time 3/32", and my cfh is usually around 35. Belive my amps were around 40 or 45 for this. Its been a bit since I filmed this one, so I can't remember everything.
I really wish I didn't waste my money on a Harbor Freight Omnipro 220 :/ I instantly realized I should have went with Everlast but they wouldn't let me return it :(

Nice video. I've had a 251si multiprocess machine for a few years now and love it. Have you ever used the pulse mig function for sheetmetal?
I've never used pulse mig before, but I hear it's nice.
Can you Test it ? Mig Puls
Qué máquina estas usando amigo?

@@bradwhite6338 Comparando la 210 ext Hay mucha diferencia en los resultados versus la 255 ext?
Nah, not much difference, other than max amps being 250 from 200

Brad, On this video I saw that this was 18guage and all the settings but amps. What was this done at please?
Was that sheet aluminum? Did you add any metal or did you just fuse the sheets together?
18ga 304 stainless. Just fusion no filler used

Sorry about that. Usually I'm around 40-45 for this
And no filler rod correct?
Background 25% of...(Peak amps), but does anyone know that value? Thanks.

Everlast sales and tech support is very rude and condescending. Think about that before you consider buying this brand.
