    Great to see in my younger days I did a lot of autogenous welding in de central heathing and later welding in construction .
    But now I struggle with electric welding 1.5 mm pipe. A pulse mig welder seems to be the answer . What are some good welding machines for infrequent light work up to 3 mm

    These are very useful videos, really need to get space in the garage to practice welding, engine to rebuild first haha.

    Brad, have you put out a video on buying a used Everlast tig welders? Obviously buying new is ideal, but the price of some of the tig machines make it a big investment. I found a Powertig 200DX with dual voltage for $200. I normally mig weld, but I have tig welded with my 160STH. I want to try the benefits of pulse and experiment with welding aluminum and this 200DX has these features. Are the older machines light years away from the technology in the new machines like 200DV?

    Nice video. I've had a 251si multiprocess machine for a few years now and love it. Have you ever used the pulse mig function for sheetmetal?

    I have an old Miller Syncrowave 300 transformer welder with no pulse or other fancy features and you are certainly trying to get me to by one of these Everlast inverter welders :( If Uncle Sam doesn't hit my wallet too hard on tax day I may be getting a late Christmas present for my business.

    Was that sheet aluminum? Did you add any metal or did you just fuse the sheets together?

    What amperage? Cup size? Tungsten? CFH? Thanks I’m still learning tig with my mts 225! Appreciate any info to help me!! Thx guys keep up the good vids!

    • @bradwhite6338
      @bradwhite6338 3 роки тому +1

      Cup is an edge shorty 15 (920 series), tungsten is arczon arc time 3/32", and my cfh is usually around 35. Belive my amps were around 40 or 45 for this. Its been a bit since I filmed this one, so I can't remember everything.

    Everlast sales and tech support is very rude and condescending. Think about that before you consider buying this brand.
