I'll be pulling this up and watching it again when I get ready to make a drum!
Thank-you for the easy to follow tutorial, you are kind to do a tutorial. It is a beautiful design and finish.
Thank you Annie!!!
This turned out lovely Annie! As another suggestion for the bottom, I used aida cloth & stitched the year there. Looking forward to yr next tutorial 💕
Great job Annie! Not sure I am ready to tackle a drum just yet, but I will have this as a reference guide when I get there!
Always watch your floss tubes! Love these .. 5 6 7 8 9 10...I start to decorate on the 10th of December...my mother always stated them..my dad got the tree on that date too. Love your new Christmas designs...I am in the process of moving to Knoxville to be near my daughter and granddaughters. My daughter works at UT... maybe I'll bump into Cross Stitch and Crafts sometime!
You kept saying that you are not a professional finisher, but you are as close to a professional as possible: your final result looks soooo beautiful and so joyful and so Christmassy, adorable! You've just gave me the courage to try myself a small finished object, but I think I would adapt your idea for a small pillow, with red velvet and white chenille all around. Thank you for this lovely, useful tutorial! ps. I know you did not use velvet, but I did not get the name of that red fabric.
Thank you so much. I put the link in the show notes. It is red velveteen from Lady Dot Creates.
Your drum is so cute, I love it. Thank you so much for showing us how you did it. I was wondering in real time how long it took you so I have an idea? I have several in my box that I need to make for Christmas and you have given me more confidence to try. Thank you so much Annie.
Thank you so much! Real time was about an hour and a half, but that was because I was learning in the moment and I was recording. Vonna says in her video it is about an hour.
Great job, Annie! I have had the same issue with wanting to display my pins, but the mat board gets in the way…I wonder if cutting out a circle in the center would work? In theory, it would still hold its shape and you could poke the pins in the center. 🧵🪡😊
Annie, what a great tutorial. It looks like a perfect finish on the video. I love how you meticulously cover every little detail. I look forward to more of your designs and finishing tutorials. I can't wait to try making a drum and finishes on boards. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us.
Thank you so much!
