I completely agree with the stitcher below. Your instructions are so clear that they are a pleasure to watch. Keep them coming. Your finishing ideas are also terrific too.
Thank you Helen D. for making these tutorials. Your voice is so calming and you make these finishes look so easy! I have made so many things that intimidated me. 😅 I cannot wait to see what you make next! Thanks again.
That block is the cutest thing I have seen! Of course I love anything with 🐈 cats 🐱. Your instructions were so clear and precise. I just recently subscribed to your channel and I am so glad I did. Thank you for taking the time to do this video for novices such as myself.
I love these blocks but was always intimidated by putting one together. I feel better about trying one since I saw your video. Your tutorials are great. Very clear. Thank you for doing them.
Well now you’ve graduated from encourager to enabler, Helen. First the berries and now these blocks, oh my goodness! I definitely have to stitch this and while I am still terrified of finishing it, at least I know with your video I have a high success rate. Boy your sister is lucky she has a Helen! 😀 Definitely need to make one a Tabby to match my Ernie. Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into making these videos.
Thank you Dawn! Donna was actually going to finish this one herself, but I asked her if I could do it because I've been waiting to do a tutorial on one. :)
Thanks so much! You’ve helped eliminate the intimidation factor for me! I have every pattern, but have been too afraid to start them because of my finishing-fear! Lol Helen D to the rescue!
Wonderful tutorial video. Thank you. I have never bought those types of patterns because I was scared of the finishing. You made it look so easy. Thank you again.
Soo Good! thank you so much!! I am stitching the Meow for my granddaughter, who we call the original cat lady. When she was about 4 yrs she would say that she wanted to have 100 cats when she got older. She now has one that she is responsible for and has changed her mind to 2-3 cats now. Thank you so much for this video.
Awesome! Thanks Helen. I have three or four block patterns but I've been leery about stitching them because I was unsure about the finish. Now, I can do this ... thanks to you!
You are awesome! Thank you for taking your time to show how to finish the block. I just finished stitching one and was very hesitant to finish. I now have the confidence to attempt my finish. I appreciate you/
@@helend.flosstube I have started a pendibule & a humbug too! Your pendibule tutorial was great. Learning new finishing is one of my stitching goals for 2022.
Another great video tutorial. The idea of sewing up the sides using a sharp needle was a “DUH” moment for me. 😉🤦♀️ Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks!
Okay you convinced me! I have Home and wasn’t confident I could finish it. You do such a great job explaining the process. Thanks for doing the tutorial!
Another great tutorial, Helen! Thanks so much, and especially for choosing to do one of the Hands on Design block party finishes. I got the March 17 pattern and was going to just do the long part and frame it, which I quite like from Kathy’s video. Now that I’ve seen this, I’m inspired to get the Meow pattern - always loved it - and give it a try.
What a great teacher you are! That’s a special skill and I love to watch you showing the steps to complete this cute project. Keep those tutorials coming!
I stitched the Halloween Block, but I followed her directions and did a long picture with stretcher bars for the frame, I may have to re-stitch it and make the block…thanks for all you do!
Yay, I've been so excited for this tutorial! I've wanted to make some of these block party designs, but was really intimidated by the finishing. I now feel like I could totally do this after watching your video. Thank you so, so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial Helen. I appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge and experience! I look forward to trying this finish. 😊
Thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I am not a seamstress and don’t have a sewing machine. I wanted to do berries but again not a seamstress so I’ve been thinking about trying a biscornu but I really like the look of these blocks. I have the set of pins for Java and found HOD block for that one so I hope to kit it. Thank you for taking the time to share!!
Thank you Jennifer! You could always hand sew a berry, or put two lines of backstitch up the sided and stitch it up with a whip stitch. The Java block is very cute!
Thanks, Helen! This was great! I have the 25th block and I can't wait to stitch it up. I'd love to get a few other of her blocks as well. That being said, I have my one and only biscornu that I've ever stitched still waiting in my "to be FFOed" box for at least 15 years now. Maybe longer. 😆 I seriously must carve out time to FFO my things. Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for doing this Helen. I have one started, just the stitching part but will get to it. I got into the berries and put the block down. You make everything look so easy. Have a great weekend!
Thank you so much for showing us this! I’ve been wanting to stitch this pattern but was intimidated by the finishing. Not anymore! Going to have to try 😍

I ❤️❤️ this project! After watching you put this together I purchased this and 2 more charts! 🐱🐈
Great clear directions. Love that Donna personalized with her cats. Not surprised that it's on green! Both look great but different. Keep stitching

Another great video tutorial. The idea of sewing up the sides using a sharp needle was a “DUH” moment for me. 😉🤦♀️ Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks!
I think I used a regular needle when I started my first one, but it just wasn't working for me. 😉
Thanks for the tutorial. You always do a great job. Happy stitching 🪡
Thanks for taking the mystery out of these. I love your sister's 'cat conversion'. I have two Siamese so I think I will make it all Meezer.
