I've lived in Forest Acres for about 4 years now. I'm not too far from trader joes at all. It really is a high quality of place to live. Especially when you take into consideration the cost of living. The only downside really is the lack of walkability. I will say, food options galore. Within a 15 minute drive you can eat food from all over the world(Korean, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, nigerian, puerto rican, venezuelan, etc...) . The proximity to some of the largest employers is also hard to beat (USC, Fort Jackson, Prisma Health, Aflac, Richland School district, City of Columbia.) It truly is a nice central location if you need to find work in blythewood or lexington area, still not too far for either growing locations.

This is what I have heard, it's not as easy to walk or get to places as perceived. Outside of that many residents do love the area!
