The next time I visited her she had brought her own album. The Compact Disc was invented until 1982. I miss grandma❤️.

My parents were getting divorced when I was in 1 st grade and I used to hear this on the bus to school and try to figure out which one was the reason my parents were divorcing. Paul Simon has a deep catalogue of great songs. Some favorites I suggest: “Still Crazy After All These Years,” “Graceland” “American Tune,” “The Obvious Child,” “Something So Right,” “The Boy in the Bubble.”

The great Steve Gadd with one of the most iconic and recognizable drum beats of all time! When I set up my drums for a live gig I'll play this riff during the sound check and people who happen to be in the venue immediately light up because they know what it is. Makes me smile every time!

I think I was probably listening to Paul Simon in the womb, my dad was a huge fan and he was the soundtrack to every long car journey we ever had. So watching someone listening to this for the first time is an utter joy, because I certainly don't remember hearing it for the first time 😆 I can still hear my dad's voice quietly singing along when I hear a Paul Simon song...

This song was played so much on the radio when it came out. It took me a while to warm up to it because I was such a fan of Simon & Garfunkel, and this is a departure. Cooler in every sense. (Now I have the tabs to learn how to play that awesome drum line.)

My parents were getting divorced when I was in 1 st grade and I used to hear this on the bus to school and try to figure out which one was the reason my parents were divorcing. LOL I tried to convince my friends at school to call me Gus, because I was the one that hopped on the bus. It was the first song I ever learned all the lyrics to!
