I did this, but some how the save I got from the game pass version is VERY old and not current. I have also read somewhere that there was an update that "broke" multiplayer saves. did the save location move or change? Would that be why I cant get a current save copied/converted?
not sure how but the old save (im a level 16) is still what is being converted/copied when in the world I am level 36. all player details, pal captures and even the world itself is an old save. I cant figure out where the new saves are located.
Dude im in the same boat, im still trying to figure out how to make it extract a newer save or how to update that save that it keeps pulling.

This was a great video! Super easy to follow. Any chance you can make a video about "reassigning friends data over to steam from game pass worlds?" I used your video to move my Game Pass save data to Steam. The only problem is my friends data didnt transfer over. We are pretty far along and would rather not have to start over.

i accidentally deleted my old save file to make it easier for me to just drag one file but when i try to extract again it says “missing container” and won’t do it angmore

Hey so I was able to transfer over my save file from xbox gamepass to steam, however I was having a lot of issues transferring my friends save file who was also playing oriignally on game pass, but is now trying to play through steam.
So we both essentially started on gamepass and are now both trying to switch to steam, we only played a co-op server and plan to still continue to do so. I have all of my information as the host properly transferred over, however I cannot get his information for his account working. Please help! a video like this would be amazing! I was trying to follow several guides and getting stuck quite badly.

When opening PAL 2:29 I don’t have a saved folder, just Binaries, Content and Plugins. I’ve created a saved game too so I don’t know why it’s not showing. I’m on windows 11

I got the problem, that my world on the microsoft version got deleted (the game crashes and the world was gone)... so I only got the data in the save folder from microsoft... can I somehow get that world back? Please say I don´t wasted 150 hours...

okay my gf and I played palworld for like 6 hours on my own multi player server, with like a access code. do you know if there's a way to take her and I's progression to another server? a friend of ours has a dedicated server and she really doesnt want to start over as she found a few shiny's and we built up our base.

So stupid question here, I'm assuming that if the extractor shows no supported games installed I'm sh!t out of luck? I'm playing Hell Let Loose on the PC version of Xbox Game Pass and trying to extract them to buy the game outright on steam.
