He tried to pay the king of Assyria to leave Jerusalem alone, but the Assyrians sent their army to the city. This chapter recounts how the Rabshakeh, an Assyrian official, mocked Judah and their God, and tried to scare them into surrendering.

Hezekiah was a king of Judah. The tribe of Judah had mostly good kings that did right in the eyes of the Lord. The tribe of Israel had mostly bad kings that did evil in the sight of the Lord.
But yes, Hezekiah was a very good king.
