@@phillcardiac lmao!!!! you did watch his vid didn't you? Little haven is in South Shields and he dipped his wheel at Tynemouth priory in Tynemouth aka the river Tyne aka the mouth of the Tyne aka Tynemouth. Now just left of the North pier is the sea.. ☺
The sailing club tynemouth North side or little haven South side of Tyne. Doesn't actually matter as you dip your back wheel in Whitehaven Harbour.. so similar. I don't actually know care done c2c in a day twice, it's all about the bike 😅
It's a bit mixed between path and road, but generally good. Roads were mostly quiet or non main roads. To get the exact profile you can check my Komoot route: www.komoot.com/collection/1675642/-c2c-whitehaven-to-tyneside The vibe of the video is fairly accurate. Some bits of Penrith I went off route to find food, so busy streets.
Hello Jamie I loved your video of the C2C. Would you consider emailing me with the route you took? I’m considering organising the C2C run for my wife’s birthday next year. She would love to do it. I fully understand if you don’t wish to email it. Thanks

Thanks for the video - c2c + camping along the way on my wish list - interesting to watch those carrying a tent 👍🏻
Since my comment below I have ridden the Way of the Roses, camping along the way. Absolutely brilliant way to travel and see your country 🤗
Awesome! That looks like a good route, I'll have to give that a try someday!
Great video and a route I have wanted to do for the last few years, thanks for posting
gorgeous pitch @3:30 !!!
@@mattlast4093 Bank House Farm at Little Salkeld. Was lovely mist!
Awesome 👏
Did the C2C four times in my 30s and 40s. Just turned 60 and this has inspired me to do it again - although some intense training might be required!

If you can sort it the c2c in a day midsummer is a brill long day out. done it twice with road support from friends.
Oh no!!!! Just watched you vid wich I enjoyed only to find out at the end of you vid you dipped you front wheel into the river Tyne and not the sea.
I thought the river proper started around Fish Quay!?! I guess I'll have to do it again some day! 😅

Thinking of doing this in the summer with my 8 year old over 4 days possibly 5. How much is paths and how much is road?

Main tough bits are in first 2/3ds. I guess if you did it over 4 days be bit nicer for your child unless their the next Tom Pidcock or Zoe Backstead.
