    In this video we have discussed 4 question of csir net mathematics exam on uniform continuity. Uniform continuity is important topic for csir net mathematics. So, We will get idea from this uniform continuity video that what is uniform continuity and how to check uniform continuity of a function. Results like 1) If derivative is bounded then function is uniform continuous 2) if function continuous on closed interval then uniform continuous 3) if function is continuous in open interval and limit exist at end points then function is uniform continuous. 4) Result of cauchy sequence etc.

    Sir I think your definition of connected set is the definition of convex set.
    For convex set joining line must be straight line,for connected set joining line may be curved line ie there must be a connection between these two points....

    Sir , how we can say that if limit does not exist at end points then function is not uniformly continuous
    eg. f(x)=x is uniformly continuous on(1,infinity ) but limit at infinity do not exist.

    Dense set
    If A cluser is equal to R then A is called dense not limit point
    On the other hand
    If A'=R then A is called perfact set .

    for f(x)=e^x if xn= ln (n) and yn= ln (n+1) then |xn-yn| -> 0 but |f(xn) -f(yn)| =1 > epsilon. so e^x non uniform continu. am i wrong?

      Mod of substitution of the function of those points has to be less than epsilon for mod of substitution of the points less then delta

    Sir if a function f is closed and bounded on an interval then also it said to be a uniform continuous. Isn't it?
    If it's true then why f = x^2 is u.c when x €R
