I miss this character. He was amazing in Dark Angel. Him leaving NCIS is going to be hard to watch but he was such a great character. Tony DiNizzo was one of the best characters on TV.

She needs to come back and make a Dark Angel reunion. It would be great for her and her fans.

@@giselle9174 I was STUNNED to say the least when that happened, but she said in interviews that the time spent recording shows was too much for her so she wanted out of the show. I like the cast still, Casey was easier to get to know after finding out why Pauley left the show, and I liked how they kept showing that Ziva was actually alive by giving her guest shots. Obviously they can't bring Michael Weatherly due to his success on Bull, but I miss him. They are gradually fading David McCallum out of the show, after all, he is 86 now!!
I love Michael Weatherly he's funny as hell and a guy I would be friends with in real life. I'm sad he's gone from ncis and will be missed as Tony Dinozzo but I respect his decision in leaving to pursue other opportunities in roles for other shows or movies. Micheal Weatherly u rock 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Micheal is a great actor and a light in the serie but they have choose the new cast well. Gibss, Mgee, Abby, Ducky are still in it plus the story is still strong.
It has not been the same since Ziva left. I have only dipped in and out of series 12 because it is on Saturday. I used to watch regularly when on Friday but often out Saturday or have better things to do. I think it is coming to the end on terms of quality. From what I have seen of 12 it has been weak.

Stars get tired of the regime, eating special food, exercing, all the time, they are human after all, and we have those fantastic reruns, and with the pandemic, I'm watching a lot of reruns of shows I didn't get a chance to enjoy, because I worked constantly

The writers really shortchanged Tony's character. All the other characters got to do interesting things and matured whereas Tony was still cracking jokes, chasing skirt and making movie references. While interesting and fun for viewers, not exactly traits you would look for in a crime solving team. His best work on that show were the times that the episodes centered around him and those were so good I always thought he deserved a show where he was the leading man. In glad he's moving on to his own show. As much as I appreciate Cote de Pablo's portrayal of the Ziva character - I soon grew tired of the character. Whereas the writers skimped on Tony's role, they more than made up for it for Ziva. All the other characters were very realistic but Ziva was totally unrealistic. For someone who was born and bred to be a Mossad officer/operator, Ziva lacked self-control. She was hot-headed, frequently lecturing her team mates and was way to mean to Tony. I don't know what he saw in her as a potential lover. Her attitude far finished her beauty. I can believe a person is fluent in 9 languages. I knew a beautiful woman who was. But Ziva was an expert at everything except driving and using contractions. I lost all interest in the character when she defeated a big, strong marine on a roid rage while everyone else was easily tossed aside. That did it for me. She kicked the crap out of a man much bigger and stronger than herself while Tony, on more than one occasion, got knocked over by someone tossing a small bag of groceries at him! I'm all for girl power to an extent- but come on! Michael Weatherly deserves better!

NCIS hired three actors to replace him, but Tony DiNozzo is irreplaceable. He is missed.
