Great movie, and great race. I did also compete and complete in 27 hours and 15 minuts for the first time. Tough race, but i will defently be back next year. It was a great experience. Well done 💪
@@jacoblowenstein8473 thanks!! Which boat did you sail? Well done anyway. The night was the worst 😀
@@Sailingchris agree the Night was tough, the fog was the worst part i think. We have a Dark blue Luffe 40 called Alba, was in the XL class.
@@jacoblowenstein8473 ah nice boat and again well done and thanks for watching!
@@Sailingchris same to you. See you in 2025 ⛵️⛵️
Great video. Beautiful sailing. Thanks 🙏👍
Love the continued improvement with the production work and editing, super fun and entertaining while still capturing all the good parts and excitement with a race! Nice!
@pd0 Thanks John! It's a trade-off with cool edit and actually be finished at some point 😀
Great sailing, fantastic video and as always I appreciate your engaged speaker comments. Nice meeting you at Silverrudder!
@xalax nice to meet you as well and well sailed! Hope to see you again somewhere on the coast
Congratulations and thank you for taking us along!
@horstlauch453 thanks for watching!
Great movie, very entertaining with funny commentary
@@mikepeuker thanks! I'm trying my best 😉
Been waiting for this one....
Hope you like it!
Hi Cristofer, that is a good one! We need you to be in Svendborg next year! And yes - the fog in the night was scary!!!
@fredfeuerstein7050 yeah maybe I should come to Svendborg next year then if the tide is right 😉
Coool video. I will definitely attend this race one day ⛵️
Do it! Several other boats from Norway as well to team up with
Nice video, I think I have to do the Silver rudder also. Maybe next year 2025...I really am amazed how many foreign sailors, takes the long way to Denmark to race the Silver Rudder.
Yeah, sign up for the race!
Crazy race!
Not sure if it is wise seamanship…but well done.
Very good vid - from the armchair it looked rather easy in good conditions - but I can imagine going through the narrowest part in the dark and after a long day was challenging...I will try to push a friend to do it next year in a very fast cat.
@kvalvagnes for me it was tough. Can totally agree the weather was great and temperature good. But I was not used the long night and fog
Nice video! More and stronger coffee next time?
Great video, great sailing, have a good rest. Do you know, did they use on the DF25 a autopilot? I did it in 2021 on a small boat with a Autopilot, Next time also on a tri. Do you recommend a autopilot for a tri for silverrudder?
@elearning_testAREAL Thanks a lot! I would recommend autopilot to 100% I also have two remote control to mine. To adjust course. I just assume the DF25 had autopilot as well. The Diam24 did not. He is hardcore.
@@Sailingchris thank you so much
@elearning_testAREAL I also had two extra smaller battery that I could connect either autopilot or navigation or both If or when main power failed. But this time it worked great. Maybe I should do a boat tour some day
@@Sailingchris That would be great. To get some impressions and recommendations for singlehanded equipment on a tri. I do actually a complete refit on a corsair24 with the goal to go around funen singlehanded.
@elearning_testAREAL I'm no expert in any way but I can show what works for me and backup system
nice video, the chairs you have on the floats, are they homemade ? or are they available through a shop ?

Kanonbra film TACK för attdudelar med dig
How long did it take you to get from Uddevalla to Funen?
looks like this was a single handed race, pretty impressive.
I was trailering my boat from home to Denmark/Silverrudder, and that took 5 hours. To sail, it would have taken several days. They had a very good boat slip ramp next to the marina for us
Must you be solo onboard or can be more people?
@@wingaboating only one person on board was the rule
I should not be watching this…those boats are twice as fast as my catamaran
@markthomasson5077 your catamaran is probably faster than you think 🤔 what do you have? 😀
@@Sailingchris it is a Woods Gypsy, 8.5m. The hulls are quite fat, so I haven’t had her above hull speed yet, though I believe with a wave behind she will take off. Or lots of sail and a strong nerve, and needs new sails.
She is a good safe cruising design at 5.4m wide
