    It's very Interesting story of this historical town one of the most vibrant commercial city centre in the east African coast. The Kiswahili which is spoken in pangani is the most beautiful variety in Tanzania. This is one of the earliest civillized town in Tanzania. Though neglected, pangani still carries a very important history in African civilization in all spheres mainly kiswahili language, Islamic religion trade and commerce. Bravo Mr Imani for this Coverage, however you could also visit the other side of pangani, Bweni, so that you could learn muchof the hidden history of this coastal town of tanzania the first one to be written in an ancient map as Rhapta. The grandson of mwanabweni, I submit.

    Watching this again. Very informative and deep history. Great guide. Thanks once again, Imani. I particularly love the Tanga region series because I once lived and worked (briefly) in Tanga, even though I did not see much of the area then. Asante saana.

    Mr Imani you have really presented a beautiful Vlog. It seems this small town has a lot of history Am I right that Kiswahili sounds a little bit like Arabic. Kiswahili is very sweet to listen. It is one of the sweetest language in world especially KISWAHILI spoken on the coast and also Zanzibar.You say that the people of Pangani were Kiguwa. I though they were Wazaramu and Sharazi. Mmay be I am wrong.

    • @InspireForTravel
      @InspireForTravel  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you for you comment Mr Khan. Kiswahili has alot of loan words from the Arabic language especially the Omani Dialect. Nevertheless the foundation and grammatical structure of the language is Bantu. According to the guide the Ziguwa were the first people the Arabs meet when they first arrived in Pangani. Whether or not there were other tribal communities before them is up for further discussion.

    Kidogo Mr Historian amekosea. Wa arabu walikua Wana wanunua wa tumwa kutoka kwa watemi wa Tabora, ambao ni wanyamwezi kutoka unyanyembe Tabora. Na Hao watemi ni wa kina Fundikira. Walikua Wana kusanya watu kutoka sehemu mbali mbali na kuwa uza kwa warabu na wazungu. Waliokua waki wafungwa chain si Warabu, ila ni wazungu. Wa arabu Wali wachukua na kuwa peleka uarabuni (Oman) na mpaka leo wapo ila Wana ishi kama wa Omani wengine, wameona Wana family Na pia wengine wame changanyika na warabu, wame owana na warabu na wengi wao ni matajiri na Wana maisha mazuri tu. Walipo fika Oman baada ya muda Wali waachia Huru.

    Kindly do the Tanga again with a better guide. The library you visited should be able to offer you one. That particular library is very important in Tanzanian culture. There is where the great east African poet worked those days late 1940s early 50s Shaban Robert. A secondary school and a street in Dar Es Salaam is named after him. Ask about the historic fire outbreak of the late sixties that was thought to be of superstitious origin. That's just a tip of an iceberg. Get to Mkonge Hotel Raskazoni you will get a good English speaking guide. Make sure you get up to usambara mountains that is Lushoto town and Amani forest amboni caves.
    Walk again the Ngamiani CBD let one walk you street number one to 22 each has its own history.
    One the best hotel, rival football club houses the market and the bus station and other tourist attractions.
    You'll love it.
    Well done young man

    Historia ya slave trade ni wazungu waarabu wameingizwa chaka . slave walitumwa America , Brazil , Jamaica, Cuba, Trinidad ,Haiti Colombia, nchi zile zilikuwa hazina waafrika wote wamechukuliwa kutoka Africa na kutumikia kwenye mashamba ya wazungu ,Historia inapotoshwa.

    • @jasintz9245

      Waarabu ndio walikuwa washenzi kabisa wameua wafrica wengi

    • @myl9499

      Soma history ndugu waarabu hawakununua slaves Africa tu, walinunu slave europe pia. Arabs pia waliteka nchi za ulaya, spain ilijengwa na waarabu. Europe na Africa ni waafrica na wazungu wenyewe (middleman ) waliteka waafrika na wazungu wenzao na kuwauza kwa waarabu (wazungu waliingia baadaye Africa). Waarabu pia waliteka nchi za Ulaya, kwa mfano Spain na cyprus zilitekwa na waarabu na nchi hizo zina historia kubwa ya kiarabu. Hata vikings waliuza slaves kwa waarabu.
