Common Mistakes in Dryer Vent Installation

I have an inline draft blocker on my dryer vent hose, I put this in as an extra piece to help keep cold air out in the winter.
Be sure not to over tighten this piece, or any plastic piece for that matter, as it will no longer properly function.
I was not able to get the draft blocker truly back to 'round' so I may need to replace it if I have further issues with it.
So far, my quick repair seems to be holding up.
