I re built the exact bike (purchased for £60) with sram rival and fitted dura ace carbon c60 wheels....great bike to ride....the one in the video has had some changes to the paint and rear chain stay stripped as the frame is all metallic blue
if I was selling a good condition cannondale r3000 si caad 5 what do you think I could sell it for? I can't find anything like it on the web. all Ultegra components

@@coenng5787 I think they're lying, in many countries, including Russia, you have to pay at least $100 for an ancient steel frame, so this makes no sense

The frame was fine but there were some scratches on it so I painted it with a different shade. The r2000 has integrated headsets and the weight is 1,280g, and I can't see any other differences between them
sweet build. i just came across that same frame for $100, yeah i know dirt cheap. plan on building it up in next weeks just waiting for all the components to get started. would love to share it with you if thats ok?
Thanks. This frame has really big potential and is beautiful. Choose light components this bike can be incredibly light. My bike weighs 7.5 kg. but if you want you can go below 7 kg. I am very curious about your project

is there some kind of notch to make the forks and stem lineup or it it like the saddle and seat post where there is no alignment but visual?

It's not a drill, it's a power screwdriver with a torque limiter. Great for this type of application.

Did you have to repair the frame? Notice some unmatched paint. What is the difference between this frame and the R800 of same year? Just weight?

bar tape was wrapped the wrong way. it will either unravel itself or the edges will curl up.

the wheels are the most important part. It is still a very good frame. The same alloy is used today.
